My fellow citizens:

change has come

change has come

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We the People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents.

So it has been.So it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age.Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics.Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land a nagging fear that America’s decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America they will be met.

On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.

On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics. ….

We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of short-cuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame.Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.

For us, they packed up their few worldly possessions and traveled across oceans in search of a new life.

For us, they toiled in sweatshops and settled the West; endured the lash of the whip and plowed the hard earth.

For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost.We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans.Their memories are short. For they have forgotten what this country has already done; what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage.

What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward.Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public’s dollars will be held to account to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government. ….

Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous. The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience’s sake. And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born:know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy.Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and non-believers.We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society’s ills on the West know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world’s resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it.

As we consider the road that unfolds before us, we remember with humble gratitude those brave Americans who, at this very hour, patrol far-off deserts and distant mountains. They have something to tell us today, just as the fallen heroes who lie in Arlington whisper through the ages. We honor them not only because they are guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service; a willingness to find meaning in something greater than themselves. And yet, at this moment a moment that will define a generation it is precisely this spirit that must inhabit us all.

For as much as government can do and must do, it is ultimately the faith and determination of the American people upon which this nation relies. It is the kindness to take in a stranger when the levees break, the selflessness of workers who would rather cut their hours than see a friend lose their job which sees us through our darkest hours. It is the firefighter’s courage to storm a stairway filled with smoke, but also a parent’s willingness to nurture a child, that finally decides our fate.

Our challenges may be new.The instruments with which we meet them may be new. But those values upon which our success depends hard work and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism these things are old. These things are true. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout our history. What is demanded then is a return to these truths. What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship.

This is the source of our confidence the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny.

This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath.

So let us mark this day with remembrance, of who we are and how far we have traveled. In the year of America’s birth, in the coldest of months, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on the shores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy was advancing. The snow was stained with blood. At a moment when the outcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of our nation ordered these words be read to the people:

“Let it be told to the future world that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet [it].”

America. In the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children’s children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God’s grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.

Ban Identifying, Terror Act with any Religion

“Demonisation”  of Muslim in Particular

Demonisation of  any religon  should be fought.  We know we have many non govt organisations, Sensible Govts bodies, Human rights organization,  media, both print and electronic, helping differet sections in the scoiety in fighting this “Demonisation” by various groups, who are in a systematic manner trying to defame and demoralize certain section of society   generaly and more specifically the Muslims,  all over the World.

I would like  Indian  Muslim to lead and help the world Muslim in association with Heads of other Religions, Media, World Bodies (formed on theory of co existence) like UN, OIC, to raise loudly their voice, In the framework of constitution, as civilised and equal citizens of this Indian  Nation and Condemn such “Demonisastion” of Muslims or any other Religion by linking it to Terror.

“Do not hurt any one, so that no one may hurt you”

Muslims need to open a dialogue with the world community and educate them about Islam and the teaching of Quran and the life of Prophet of God Mohammed peace and blessings of Allah are upon him. The Prophet in his last sermon to his followers said “do not hurt any one, so that no one may hurt you”, this saying has given the world the best tool to keep the world at peace and that laid the foundation of mutual respect, tolerance, and peace.

Muslims with their deeds and with their right presentation of Islam can make the world acknowledge that they are strength to any society and any nation.

This is proved in many parts of the world. Those who experienced Muslims, know how fare, friendly and caring Muslims are in dealings.

The principles of Islam advocate universal brotherhood, this quality of brotherhood glows around practicing Muslims; they are the ones who represent Islam.

1.5 billion Muslims have best and most successful stories of economic growth, political wisdom, social and cultural pride, to boast theories of co existence, in many Islamic Countries, and Muslim ruled nations, and Muslims know they have embarrassing examples too.

Muslim ruled nations are safe homes of millions of our brothers from other religions, they find these countries, more comfortable to settle and prosper, and the demography is full of such examples.

”In a statement on Ihsanoglu’s remarks, Geneva spokesman for the International Humanist and Ethical Union Roy Brown argued that Islam was often linked to terror because perpetrators of many terrorist acts identify themselves as Muslims”

Tools of Terror

In a society full of poverty, discrimination, hate, illiteracy, lack of social and community support, a poor ill informed individual is bound to get lost from the path of believe he is born with.

It is very much possible that such individuals can become tool in the hands of evil mongers, terrorist net works and defame the roots to which that individual belongs. This individual at times is a Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and Jew or a Communist. The history is full of flaws committed by all the sections of the society; I don’t need to repeat in this column.

“Islam was often linked to terror because perpetrators of many terrorist acts identify themselves as Muslims.”

1. These perpetrators of terror are a curse on mankind and burden on society.

2. They should be neutralised and cornered with Iron fist, these are the people who are mentioned in scriptures as evil mongers who spread unrest on earth.

3. They are enemies of peace. They may matter identify themselves with any.

4. They can not be Muslims, Christians, Hindus or Jews. All societies have differences and discrimination histories we calling ourselves civilised should learn to fight all our odds at right forum.

Muslims, Christians, Hindus, or a Jews should show unity in condemning associated them with terror of any kind.

1. Be clear a killer of innocent people and mindless act of terror can not be a human being.copy-of-12x9_size-modified1

2. There should be a Ban on identifying any Terror Act with any Religion.

3. Words so often used Muslim Terror, Hindu Terror, Christian Terror, or a Jewish Terror groups should be history.

4. I will not be surprised if we implement such a ban the toning of so called terror groups will be lost, they will have no identity and no platform to exploit, and this will itself act as major deterrent for them.

5. This could be best first step forward to isolate terror. The other steps can follow.

Is Israel in Jitters as Obama, takes over White House with a pledge to bring back the lost glory for US and work for new World order !

tanks vacating gaza

tanks vacating gaza

Israeli and Hamas busy debating who won – the truth is – Humanity Lost, and Peace in Middle East has taken a back seat for now.

Mindless Aggression to Quench Thirst for Human Blood.

22 days of mindless agression of Israel and equally disgraceful venture of Hamas which exposed lakes of Palestinians women and children and innocent civilians to the ruthless Israeli Air attacks and inhuman acts of Israel, Today the world has matured to hate the enemies of peace and killers of innocent people world over. It is moving to read the world community irrespective of religion and region condemning the Israeli actions in Gaza.

World is not Blind to Believe Israel

Israel is a ceration of Britian which formed a state for Jewish community in the name of religion, Israel in 1946, it from years, the UN and majority of countires accepted it as a nation. In anticipation to better relations and peace in the region. Till now Israel is one country with out fixed interantional boundaries.

The rewards on it by its friends and international community in gereral have made her still greedy, that it expects, the world to put a blind eye to acts of gruesome massacre of innocent people by Israeal, in the name of teaching lesson to Hamas. The world is not blind to believe Israel, any more.

Where are the Marshals of Human Rights

Don’t we have a convincing thought that all that has happened in the last three weeks in Gaza resulting in killings of thousands of innocent people, and destruction of property broken families, homeless thousands, staving, with no medical aid, injured people is masterminded by people who claim to the marshals of human rights, preachers of peace, and who value serenity of the international boundaries.

Why Israel Disrespects UN.

The actions of Israel in Gaza in utter violation of the norms of United Nations and disrespect of the resolutions of UN and its General Assemble has raised a question about the effectiveness of UN and the role of International Community who are silent to the blatant disrespect by Israel to the UN requests and resolution.

Who won and who lost (winners after killing innocent people? shame. can they go any lower…)

One wonders what any one has gained in this, war between Israel and Hamas where both claim to be victorious, we find Israel boosting the low casualty on its side of both civilians and the army and on the other hand Hamas is claiming that it is a victory of the Palestinians, inclusive of all groups in Palestine. Intefada was not part of the peace talks and was not actively involved in it… there are allegations on the Hamas too of making the innocent children and women shield against the brutal attack of Israel.. God know better.

Lost – Life’s , Lost Hope….

The painful truth is the world community has lost, the UN has lost, all sensible people who value human life have lost and the precious life’s of 2000 plus innocent life’s are lost, once again the hope of early peace in middle east is lost.

Life of People made Difficult for long time to come

And life in Israel for the people of Israel is not made any easier by aggravating the sentiments and brutal killings of the innocent people in the region. Is Israel re working its strategies to hold on to the land it occupies forcefully?

Israel has lost purpose, and there is a degree of restlessness in them and in the manner between 18th and 20th the dramatic changes in stands on both sides took shape it looks too fishy.

Israel to Clear the Guilt Shop before Obama takes control in US…. Is Israel Feared?

On Saturday a unilateral seize fire was signed between US and Israel
Effecting the seize fire from mid night.

On Sunday Hamas continued to its very insignificant offence by shooting 19 hand made rockets.

On Sunday evening Israel wows to fight back on same evening Hamas unilaterally declare a week long seize fire.

On Sunday late Israel instructs its commanders to clear Gaza with all traces and tanks and its army from Gaza before the change of office in white house. And Barack Hussain Obama takes the white house office and the control in his had. 20th Jan 2009

Is Israeli comfortable with Obama ? was Israeli acting on the dictates of any ?

Is Hamas truly interested in the well being and the cause of Palestinians?

Can any war solve the problem of Israel and bring peace to its people and the region.?

Respect Al Aqsa Mosque and Baitul Maqdas.

World knows the solution to the unrest and mistrust and, door for peace in world is achieved by respecting the sanctity and pride of holy premise Baitul Maqdas in Jerusalem where in is Masjid Al Aqsa ,which is house of ten’s of Messengers of God and premise of which are blessed by God Almighty. Setting aside the material gains and learn to live in peace and harmony so that the gererations and florish with peace and oppertunity and love, and mutual respect for all.

Jeruselem is home for, great grand fathers of Muslims, Jews, and Christians who lived, prayed for peace and preached brotherhood and oneness of God, and prayed for prosperity of their children.

Oh people of the earth respect the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque where the blessed and loved messengers and prophets of Allah lived, (May peace and blessing Allah be on all of them. Amen). And learn to live together in peace and make the gererations responsible and florish. amin.

The prayers to be continued

The prayers of millions and millions of people all around the world for the safety and security of the innocent people needs to be continued and beg for forgivness for our sins from the creator of the worlds.

Barak Hussain Obama is the 44th President of America.

World expects Obama to help bring lasting solution to middle east, crisis and bring maintainable peace in the region. With the skills and universality in his approach and character, we can hope he will.

As I conclude this article Obama is sowrn in as the President of Hope for the people of America, also giving hope to the world, in the wake up to a new America. His speach gives life to strings of hope.

Value of a Muslim Vote – In changing India. Better Future for Nation and Generations to come. One nation One People.

Better Future of your Country and Generations to come. One nation One People.

We, too are, architects of, mess we are in.
Over all, the atmosphere of the Political System, of our Country, is not very encouraging. Indian People, Media, or the Social Bodies do not have great respect for our Politicians or the Political System we are in today.

By saying so, we also know in them there are great Politicians and Great Leaders. We can not take away the good work, many politician have rendered for our country who are self less and great human beings and truthful across party line.

It is not a blank case. It is a case of further improvement of our Political System. Which we know needs change, for better.

The system we have inherited is not by singular flaw of the Politicians or the Political System, we all are equal architects and planners of this Mess, and we are in today.

British Raj of divide and rule.

After 60 years of Independence from the British Raj we are still influenced, if not by the White Skinned British but we are inspired by the most dangerous tools of Governance, used by the British the, policy of “DIVIDE AND RULE”.

On Ethnic and Religious basis, playing, with Numbers and infusing Resistance of Different Kinds, Intentional and Diplomatic. With goal to, conquer the bodies of people not the souls.

Thus, History has seen the British raising its Flag, in Europe, Asia, Africa, South East Asia, and Far East. With a victorious face, under ceremonial praise, by using this shame tool. Divide and Rule.

Bahadur Shah Zafar the last Mughal Emperor was blinded and exiled to Rangoon where he died in 1862. His three sons were publicly executed at “Khooni Darwaaza” in Delhi. He did not plead mercy and bravely declared, “The power of India will one day shake London if the glory of self-respect remains undimmed in the hearts of the rebels”.

The 1857 revolt saw a strong unity between Hindus and Muslims and was an important milestone in our freedom struggle. It aroused new hopes and inspiration for future generations who wanted to free their motherland from the clutches of British rule. The British could not accept defeat in 1857 national revolt and began the game of “Divide and Rule”. They created communal differences that were never seen before and divided the Indians. Unfortunately, even today that policy is continuing.

British Surrender

But we united as a Nation, under the Leadership of Gandhiji and many brave freedom fighters, and noble leaders who emerged among the Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs, to fight so called Great British Empire, with such a determination, zeal, and thrust that the British had to surrender.

Habits Die Hard

They. The British played the last dirty, trick on us by dividing the nation using the weakness of our leaders, infusing self, greater than nation theory in them.

The British succeeded in dividing our Great Indian Nation on the basis of Religion, Hindu and Muslim Majority Areas.

Thus painfully giving birth to two new sections of society. Hindu Minority in Pakistan and Muslim Minority in India. Terms never hared before.

The British once again successfully applied the only tool they were good at using “DIVIDE AND RULE”, they, divided us for ever.

Time has shown once, great Britain is not so great today. There was a saying that ‘The Sun never Sets in British Empire” we have seen the time has changed and “The Sun Hardly Rises in British Empire.” Today.

Hindu Minority and Muslim Minority

There can not a bigger moment of grief than the day, India was divided, putting millions of our own Hindu and Muslim brothers to a disadvantage in one stroke, by rewarding them with a tag of Hindu Minority, and Muslim Minority in their own Nation, for which they gave life’s, sacrificed generations,. And faced the canons of British. It pains.

They dreamed that the Nation could be liberated form the slavery of the British Raj.
Giving birth to a free India, to bring Equality, Social Justice, Prosperity, Happiness, and Desire to be united and strong.

60 years passed! Since independence.

Now after 60 years how are we placed on this Desire-o-meter which we had on the eve of Independence? An introspection theory, I feel, in short may explain.

Our Political gurus in different political parties are very good at learning, they learned the lesson, taught by the British “divide and rule”. Infact they improved and innovated it, we were Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians.

We are an advanced version today, of what we were earlier.
If on one side, we divided ourselves in the name of religion, castes, sects, and sub sects, religious and linguistic minorities. On the other side we are polarized on the bases of region, language, and social and economic basis.

Alliances, how, holy, un-holy they may be they are, to benefit some party or some group or region of ours. The name of the game is power at all costs.

The truth is we are so fragmented that, we see intense political and regional rivalries, in all parts of our nation, in most of the parts of our country. We fail to come on one platform on any issue, how important that may be in the interest of the country and its people.

Formation of vote banks

The fact is we for correcting mistakes in our society of discrimination and social and economic backwardness for long, introduced several ways and means to give them opportunity to grow as equals in all respects. .

This great move to bring those who were deprived for ages to the right social and economic status.

But, this was like a blessing in disguise, for the political minds they converted these sections of the society in to vote banks and set one against the other.

So that, the Nation Wins.
Some streams of our political gurus started strongly believing “If the People are united, we lose – And, if People are Divided we, Gain.”

The moral of the story is. We, People of India should Unite and defeat the Political System. So that, the Nation Wins.

Muslims in Position of bargain

In the present set up Muslims are gradually grown in to a position where in, their demands can not be ignored by any political party. This is true to many other sections in the society also.

Muslims now are in a dramatic position, by using their valuable vote they today, can help in changing the present system and make the nation better, by exercising there vote with wisdom and courage.

Muslims! Are you listening, the time is on your side, giving you an opportunity to contribute directly in bettering our nation and society, together with your Hindu Brothers, you can take your, best shot now, help in improving our Nation and Its Political structure.

The scene is getting set for Elections 2009 April for Lok Sabha Elections and Few State Elections.
Realise this fact, get prepared for rising on this occasion and act responsibly and Vote for Better Future of your Country and Generations to come. Vote for one nation, one people, security, development, and Indian Pride. Vote above all political and other divides. Vote as Indians.

Let the new dawn bring Equality, Social Justice, Education, Economic liberty, and Happiness,

And Desire to be united and strong, and realise our dreams which we saw when we got our independence, sixty years back.

Vote for making the Nation,

Appeal to the reader.

I would request the readers of this article to mail to as many as you can with the similar request from you. So that. Together we can make a big, difference, and improve the nation we live in.

Suggest demand which you feel can be part of the demands charter we like to make.
