Rajnathji “Hindus are Watching”

July 29, 2009 1 comment

Can Rajanth Set Right, Crippled  Rath, for Advani to Ride Again?  Advani knows, Rajnath is Making a Mistake again in diagnosing the problem, Advani is silent, fearing RSS may opt Modi as new Rider for the Hindutva Rath by 2014 General Elections.

L K Advani and Rajnath Singh "Do they look Confident"

L K Advani and Rajnath Singh "Do they look Confident"

BJP Decides to be Painted Saffon for Ever.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party will not drop its Hindutva agenda at any cost,” BJP president Rajnath Singh said on Sunday in Lucknow UP,  he also added  there was no “need for making those factors public” that led to the “party’s unsatisfactory performance” in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

“We are determined to follow the Hindutva agenda. Come what may, we will not leave it. We are committed towards Hindutva. We will not compromise with Hindutava, even if we have to wait for five-10 more years to assume power,” Singh said at the BJP’s Uttar Pradesh working committee meeting.

Voices in BJP against Hindutva Burried.

The manner in which Mr. Rajnath Singh is boosting, about his parties agenda and line of action and pattern laid out for future of BJP in India,  BJP the second largest Political Party of India and Main Opposition for Congress in India as of today.

I only have to say with great dissatisfaction and concern for the good leaders in BJP who care for this Country and in recent past boldly, criticised and blamed the failure of party in recent elections on issues of Communal Divide, and lack of concern for finding solution for real issues that are of great concern to the nation.

Like, education, infrastructure, social justice, fair justice system, basic needs and requirements like quality medical facilities, clean air, clean water, and un interrupted electricity, helping the deprived and disadvantaged in the society and working inclusively for uplifting every Indian, irrespective of religion and caste and region.

None can Replace Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his Grace, for BJP.

They relied on   wrongly projected leaders like Varun Gandhi, and Naredner Modi, and the likes, who pumped the fuel of hate in to a rather not so very offensive furnace of BJP under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in past,

BJP can, face a harsh rebuttal from Hindus, in a possible last battle of Ideologies. In 2014 General Elections.

They now string and play irresponsibly with issues that are not of great concern to the majority Hindus, that is Mandir, Masjid Divide on the basis of Religion. . The Nation has suffered enough and is sick of these issues. It will be very unfair to expect and label the Majority Hindu Community as Communal.  The Secular Hindu is the Main Driving Force of this one billion Indians.  Let us not embrace him by expecting his to act selfish and rude towards Minorities and fellow Indians.

The Nation Dared to Dream to see India at Pinnacle of Growth

The Nation today, be it Hindu, or a Muslim or a Sikh or a Christian they all together dream for the inclusive growth of the Nation and forward-looking community which dreams to see India in the 21st century at the pinnacle of growth, and standards of living and justice for all, and food for all, jobs for all, peace for all, happiness for all, security for all and opportunity for all.  No power will stop the Nation from its right to be united on equal terms to its citizens.

Is Hindutva Medium of Spreading Brotherhood?

BJP Still Believes the way forward for them is only the Path for them to Reach the seat of power with strings of power is strictly by abiding to the dictates of Hindutva as articulated by there Saffron  Bosses.

They still say  “We started from the Hindutva ideology and will continue with it without any changes. We draw inspiration from Hindutva, which is not confined to any religion. It’s a medium of spreading brotherhood across the country.”

This statement above by BJP Stalwart like Rajnath, nullifies the cocept of Hindu Religion and its Entity as an  Independent Religion and dilutes the status of the Hindu Community altogether, why are they doing so and resorting to wild interpretations of Hindutva. There is vast room for all of us in the space we share to accommodate independent identities of our multi religious multicultural progressive living.

Please Define Hindutva a Fresh

Hindutva of Brotherhood is welcome and if Rajnath is willing to modify and preach Brotherhood and equal opportunity to all,  let him spell few more sentences and define HIndutva a fresh distancing from the policy of divide on the basis of religion and work to respect the constitution of India and its Secular Credentials.

The Great Hindu Ethos and Cultural Fusion.

Hindu Religion as practised and followed by our  Pious Hindu Brothers and Sisters is a tolerant and inclusive religion which respects all other religions and has demonstrated great wisdom and health cultural fusion for centuries between Hindus, and Muslims of this part of the Sub Continent, and  lived in affinity with  mutual respect  for hundreds of years.

British Played the Spoil Sport

Till the British Raj played dirty politics of divide and rule on the basis of Religion, Caste and Region in a Happy united Nations of India in 19th Century India. Then the politics of vote bank in independent India for gaining numbers in parliament and state assemblies. The democratic liberties was sadly used negatively to divide us, induce fear, and generate shades of insecurity in the minds of both the majority and minority communities of our Nation India.

Change is In; India has taken the Option of one Unit.

All this is changing and will have to change, for we as nation have no option but to rise above these divides and work for a strong India and a sustainable and aggressive robust India to face the challenges of our times.  This is possible by having wisdom to think for India as a unit a single unit with different colours each colour enhancing its value and pride.

The Voice of Majority Hindus and Majority Minorities Match.

Only they can take a drive in the lanes of power only who realise that India needs parties and individuals who think Indian and work for Indians. And walk on the path of inclusive truthful appreciation of the secular ethos respecting the forbearers of our nation and respecting all sections of the society, and its people with the beliefs so dear to them. This is the voice of Majority Indian, and Majority Hindus and Majority Minorities of India.

Why GMR of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is delaying, Re- Building of Masjid E Omar Farooq which is located in Airport Land ?

July 22, 2009 1 comment

Are we looking a possible model of Masjid E Omar Farooq which should be built at RGIA Hyderabad by GMR.

Are we looking a possible model of Masjid E Omar Farooq which should be built at RGIA Hyderabad by GMR.

Media Reports

July 18th, 2009 in leading News Paper of Hyderabad City it is reported that the state government has given   alternate    land    for a      mosque demolished during the construction of the international airport at Shamshabad on the city outskirts and also promised to bear the expenses of building it.

However, a Muslim political party has rejected the gesture and called for rebuilding the mosque at its original site.

The district collector of Ranga Reddy, Dana Kishore has issued orders allotting 1,000 square yards land at Shamshabad, which is about seven km away from the airport.

The move was to fulfil the promise by the Congress government that it would rebuild the mosque. Masjid-e-Omer Farooq was demolished in 2007 during the construction of the airport by GMR Group.

The mosque, built in 1982, was located on about 500 sq yards, a part of 5,500 acres area acquired by the government for building the airport.

Following strong protests from the Muslim community, the government had assured to rebuild the mosque at its own cost.

Muslims Want The Mosque Re – Built.

Local Muslims wanted the mosque to be rebuilt in the airport area but the airport authorities rejected the demand saying no place of worship could be allowed on airport land.

Owaisi in Assembly

The latest move by the government has evoked strong protest from the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), a powerful Muslim political party in the state capital. MIM leader in state Assembly, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, termed allotment of land for the mosque away from the airport as rubbing salt into wounds.

Mr Owaisi demanded that the demolished mosque be rebuilt at its original site. He said Muslims would never accept land for the mosque at any other place. He fears that this could also set a precedent for the authorities to demolish mosques or other places of worship and provide alternate lands at other places.

Namazis Facing Difficulty for Prayers.

As the Mosque is not yet built by the Authorities there is great amount of inconvenience to the Muslims who have to perform Namaz five times a day a different hours.  They are praying in the open Area near the Parking in Big Numbers five times with no water to do Wadhu i.e. washing of faces hands and legs before to do Namaz and no Toilets. And no shade. Even Juma Prayers are performed in the open space.

This issue has to be addressed by the Govt and the authorities and People with great caution and with out delay.  The Dist Collectors decision of giving land seven km away from the Airport for Construction of Mosque is very disturbing it gives an impression that the authorities are in a rush to divert attention form the real issue and the just action of Re Building Masjid Omar Farooq as promised.

State Govt of YSR should Intervene

The Govt in State is expected to respect the sentiments of Muslims it should intervene and make sure that a Masjid e Omar Farooq is Re built without allowing further delay, before this issue takes uncomfortable turn. The Muslims are showing a great restrain, expecting that the govt will not do unjust and will surly Re Build the Mosque immediately.

Protect Places of Worship

The Contractual Obligations and Limitations of GMP PPP Project can not come in the way of any religious places. Be it a Mosque, Temple or a Church.  We are a secular nation we have to respect the Religious Sentiments. And Protect the Places of Worship at all costs.

GMR   authorities, as reported in media said “no place of worship could be allowed on airport land”

The Mosque should be built with no attempt to explain the limitations of the authorities.   It is very sad to hear that, the Airport authorities rejected the demand saying no place of worship could be allowed on airport land.

The Mosque was present before the airport was even thought for and it is only in the late early 2001 2002 the activity of acquiring the land for airport took momentum.

It was possible that in the design stage the Mosque could have been part of the airport complex, with out disturbing Performing of Namaz, by the Muslims.

Muslims Expect a Just Action from Govt.

Mr. Owaisi has to stick to his stand and the Govt of A .P should make sure that the Mosque is Re Built with no further delay. Before the issue gets complicated. The Muslims sincerely hope to see a Just Action from Chief Minister Rajasheker Reddy.

I understand the sensitivity of the issue and would like to address with great caution and responsibility towards the society and nation with out causing hurt to any one. Hope the people in power are hearing me and the right wisdom prevails on them.

I request the Chief Minister Rajasheker Reddy Garu to send a team to know the reality to the site and find out and see the difficulty the Muslim are facing in performing the Namaz five times at Airport due to delay in the construction of Masjid e Omar Farooq.

 What GMR Should Do.?

GMR should make a very good Mosque which can accommodate big numbers of Pilgrims who go for Haj and Omra they are the guest and clients of GMR who bring revenue to the Airport Every Year. GMR has a good reputation with people.  To make a Mosque will not be difficult for them.  On the other hand daily Namazis are in big numbers in the form of Passengers, Visitors who come to see off the Passengers, staff of GMR, Cab Personnel’s, and other employs of subcontractors and others.

India fails Again to Efficiently Manage Infrastructure Projects.

July 16, 2009 Leave a comment

India is on the move to catch-up with the years of neglect to focus infrastructure development. Now when the focus clearly in past decade is on infrastructure development, our ministries, and authorities seem to have taken the whole process of world class infrastructure projects coming up in metros of India lightly, as it is evident from the way they are handled for quality control, safety norms, counter inspection methods, co-ordination with various departments involved during construction.

The Basic Format of Construction of any International Quality Infrastructure Project.

The Active players involved in such project are mainly five.

a)      The Client – in the Case of our type of set up in India it is the Govt. or the Govt Authorities or Corporations.  Like in the case of Delhi Metro Project it is DMRC Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The govt or its agency is owner of the project. It is the responsibility of the Owner in our type of responsibility structure, to make sure the implementation is to the mark as per the design in best possible co coordinated effort of all bodies involved in coordination with the underground utilities depots, police, roads and local bodies.

b)      The Designer – One who designs the said project on the given parameters? This is a purely technical work which is the most crucial aspect of the project.  There should be no reason why a designer fails to design correctly with approved safety considerations and detailed working of the method of design specifications and the processes to checks and measures.

c)      Consultant – Who is given the responsibility to carry out the work as per the design and norms dictated by the designer, with in the limits of the quality standards given by the Designer? Consultant is the key to quality control and a perfect check on the Contractor and his UN compromised compliance following the design strictly.  No act is unsupervised in tough checks and measures enforce by the Consultant. The consultant is answerable to the Client the Owner of the Project.

d)     The Contractor is an approved agency which is expected to do the job under the strict supervision of the Consultant, and the Client i.e. the Owner in of the Project.  All the responsibility for the quality, security, and performance of the project on its completion is solely on the Contractor, and the Consultant and the Designer.

e)      It is the duty of the Owner Govt agency to make sure that all the bodies assigned are performing to the at most adherence to the International Norms and procedures and specifications laid out in the design. An independent design and consulting team is to be parallel be monitoring the stages of work in progress.

Now coming back to the issue of how the failures take place killing innocent worker and general public.  There is no way this can taken as mere failure of the structure accidentally.  The cases in which Delhi Metro Bridge Collapse is not an accident, it is failure by one or all the parties involved in the construction of the Metro Rail Project.

The Public has the right to information on the quality of design, and the quality of construction and the manner it is handled by the consultants and the client that is the Delhi Govt. and its officials.

It is not always right to link it to corruption, or performance under pressure this is absurd to speak like this.  There are no way any of the agencies and the govt can risk taking such a view of the situation.  And the alleged pressure due to dead lines to complete the project in time can be the reason for failure.

Real Possible Areas of Failure by DMRC.

The Field Staff of the Contractor, Consultant and Client DMRC looks like failed

To assess the intensity of the crack apparent, in the structure this collapsed

Killing 6 people, as reported in media by the eye witness that a crack was seen

Three months ago and the work was stopped in that that particular

Span and latter was taken up for the structure which collapsed exposing the

      Coordination Failure

In this area our departments of under ground utilities (like sewer lines,

Water lines, tel. ducts, electrical cables) roads, local municipalities,

And traffic and law and order police coordination essential for safe

And proper construction of any infrastructural project.

Like in the Case of Panjagutta Fly Over Accident in Hyderabad which

Killed 2 people, the failure was due to un coordinated excavation of a

Water line by the Sewage and Water Board of Hyderabad right below

The scaffolding of the structure which was under construction and the

Scaffolding gave way to the structure and it fell for the people and the

Cars below the fly over and killed people and damaged property.

This was the example of shear failure on the part of the contractor and

The Department to coordinate with the under ground utilities

     Quality Failure

Another major reason for failure of such a scale is failure to check the Quality

Of Precast Structure that are precast and prestressed members in controlled

Conditions in a recast factory in the precast yard few kilometres away from

The site where the precast members are placed using special cantilever cranes

Installed on the piers of the bridge.   The failure can be for two types here, one

Quality of and proportions of the material used, and the manner and the

Procedure adopted for casting in the controlled conditions. This does not

Happen with out the approval of the Consultant, and the Client stationed full

Time to administer the full process of casting and quality control.

This is done by trained technical staff with no areas of error unless

     There is collision.

    Failure during handling and transportation

This involves movement of the structural members by 1. Lifting using cranes and

Placing them on the floor after casting in the yard, then 2. Lifting them again and

Placing of the bed of the trailer to transporting to the site, then travelling to the site,

     3. Unloading on the site on ground by using crane then again 4. Lifting to place on

The span using special cranes. This is the area where it is possible if the handling is

Not with at most care the structural members if under huge impact due to rough

Handling of the crane could develop hair cracks in the structure.

    Design Failure

The Second possible reason for failure could be the Design it self, which I personnel wish to doubt if that happens to be case then we are in for a major catastrophic situation.  As major projects in the Country are handled by Gammon India and it has an excellent record but if it has failed to design in the with available high levels of design tools, this will be a major problem. I don’t think there is a mistake in the design.

What is the Remedy and How to make sure that such things do no    Happen again and again.

 a.      The areas of concern listed and discussed above should be followed and

       Monitored very religiously.

 b.      Have a parallel Monitory agency to overlook the whole process and

Report to the Govt. and Peoples Body of Technical Expertise in the Field

Formed by the Govt periodically.  With proper site visits and making the

Findings public to the media and the general public.

 c.       Making the Design of the Project and its costing and specification Public

For any Non Govt Technical Organization to access and probe in to it and

Raise concerns if noticed by them to the govt. for timely action.

The Structure on Completion should be tested  in Full Load Conditions before to Open for Public.

India is in the midst of many major Infrastructural Projects in our Metros.

It is important that when concerns are raised by the authorities themselves about

The Design, Quality and Functioning of the Structures.  As we know,

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday announced that all cantilever structures built during the ongoing Phase-II of the Delhi Metro project that have been constructed so far would be re-checked from safety and quality point of view by independent structural experts.

Media Reported Concern

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday announced that all cantilever structures built during the ongoing Phase-II of the Delhi Metro project that have been constructed so far would be re-checked from safety and quality point of view by independent structural experts.

The move comes in the wake of widespread concern over the safety and the quality of work being carried out by the Corporation following the launcher girder crash at a construction site in Jamrudpur in South Delhi on Sunday.

DMRC Managing Director E. Sreedharan, who visited the accident site twice on Tuesday, said Shirish Patel and Associates, “experts in the field,” were appointed for this purpose.

The company would be responsible for checking cantilever structures as well as for checking other pillars or civil structures as specified by the DMRC.

Ministry and the State Govts to Act to save further damage to life’s and Property.

Under the Conditions we are functioning that even the Managing Director E Sreedhran who is the asset of our infrastructural development is not confident about the quality and safety of the structures how do we expect the common man to be comfortable using the structures when he knows there is doubt raised on the quality and safety of the structure.

The Union Minister for Urban Development Jaipal Reddyand the State Govts in Respective States to be put on Alert to abide by Strict Measure to check the full Project before it open for public.

Thus it is Important that the Govt takes all precautionary measures and makes it obligatory to test the structures which will be opened for public are tested on full load conditions after completion of the project by loading it with vehicles and dead loads to prove its stability in full live load conditions with movement.

Inquiry Commissions Should not be our Goal we have become a Nation of Commissions

Why we should prepare for one more commission to investigate one more failure, our easiest way to satisfy people   and masses  of India is order a commission and get rid of the responsibility.

As the teachings of Islam clearly show us that Brotherhood and unity in Islam are based solely on the `Aqeedah of Islam (which is the foundation of Muslim belief).  The Mu’minoon are believers to one another and this belief has nothing to do with race, or any other type of invalid reason to unite but is rather a bond based on an ideological belief in Islam.

Four Schools of Thought – With no Contradiction to Quran and Hadees.

The Four Scholars of Islam strived hard and sacrificed for collecting and  presenting true practise of Prophet Mohammed SAS in the in light of the information and sayings of Prophet Mohammed sas and Quran. They all,   Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafia and Imam Hambal did best with at most respect and piety towards  beloved Prophet Mohammed sas and the Teaching and Verses of Quran al Hakeem.

Imams Succeeded in Presenting Right Islam.

It is just that, the region they lived and the area they could reach by the means available in the time they lived, thru there students and followers convey the message of  Quran and the teachings of Prophet Mohammed sas to greater numbers of people around the world.  And they Alhamdulliah Succeeded in presenting the true Islam to the Muslim Umma in compliance with the teachings of Prophet Mohammed and the Verses of Quran with no contradiction.

We are one Umma

They all are True Schools of Thought and they do not contradict the teachings of Prophet Mohammed sas and the Quran. We are expected to respect all the four Imams and there followers. There is no difference among them which contradicts Teachings of Prophet Mohammed and Quran.

Unity is Strength

Unity is strength.  This is the reason Islam lays great stress on the importance of unity.  The Islamic concept of Towhid is the other name of the unity of humankind.  The corner stone in Islam is the unity.  Islam teaches us the message that we should not divide humans into sections and sects.

The racial discrimination has been strictly prohibited in Islam.  In the last sermon from the Mount of Arafat the Holy Prophet had clearly announced that no Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab; or the white over the black.  Islam gives clear injunctions for the respect, safety, security and prosperity of the non-Muslims as well. Unity teaches peace, equality and paternity.  The absence of unity brings and breeds disruption, devastation and disputes.

The Quran discusses the concept of unity on three levels.  Foremost is the unity of humanity.  The Quran in Sura Al-Hujurat (The Inner Apartments) says:

“O, Mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.  Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is the one who has piety.” (49:13).

The Quran on second level refers to the unity of the people of the Books: the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims- In Sura Al-e-Imran the Quran says:

” O, people of the Book! Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with him, and that none of us will take others as lords besides Allah.  Then if they turn away, say; Bear witness that we are Muslims” (3:64).

Then on third level the Quran asserts on the unity of the Muslims.  In Sura Al-e-Imran the Quran says;

“And hold fast, all of you together to the rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves.” (3:103).

Then Quran condemns sectarianism and regards it shirk (polytheism).  The Quran again in Sura Al-e-Imran says:

“O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared and die not except in a state of Islam.”

This verse clearly ordains that we should strongly adhere to Islam.

Holy Prophet Mohammed sas said; Allah also said; “whoever does not care about the affairs of the Muslims is not one of them.”  “The Muslims are like a body; if one limb aches, the whole body aches.”

Muslims must find reasons and means to keep united.

In present day world we have several forces working in several directions as per the means, understanding and motivation they have we  only should pray that in rush to do good we should not get deviated from the true path shown by the Prophet Mohammed sas and the Teacings of Quran.

Allah has been kind he in the Qur’an describes what unity in Islam as the Mu’minoon is (Believers are those that believe in Allah and His Messenger Muhammad) being united in a Brotherhood based on solely Islam:

“The Mu’minoon is but a single Brotherhood.” (The Holy Qur’an, 49:10)

Allah further defines this Brotherhood by explaining that Muslims are awliyyaa’ (allies, friends, and supporters) of one another and this again is based solely on Islam:

“The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin the ma`roof (all of Islam), and forbid the munkar (all that is evil; kufr): they observe regular prayers, pay Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is exalted in power, Wise?” (The Holy Qur’an, 9:71)

Muhammad (Salla Allahu `alaihi wa sallam) indicated in several Ahadith on unity and brotherhood as we can see in his (saaws) Farewell Sermon (khuTbat ul-wadaa`):

“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.”

 And :

“A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not oppress him, nor does he leave him at the mercy of others.” (Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6219)

The Prophet said, “None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 12)

We should think of applying the Teachings in our LIFE:

We know that the Religion of Islam is complete in the Revelation of Quran and the coming of Prophet Mohammed SAS.  All teachings, all guidance, all Commands, All limits and Approvals for Mankind are Complete and Available in the form of Quran and Sayings of Prophet Mohammed sas.  We have the protected Quran and Preserved Teachings of Prophet Mohammed in the form Sahih al Bukhari, Sahih Al Muslim, Sahih Al Termizi and few more. And the schools of thought in the form of four Imams which are in compliance to Quran and Hadith.

Put Teaching to Practice

A Great work is needed in the field of calling Muslims to the basics of Islam,

1) Strengthen our Belief in Allah and The Day of Judgement and How we will be asked to give account of our time spent in the life of this world and  how only our good deeds  are going to stand for us in front of Allah and make us our day on the day of Judgement.

2) Five times Regular Prayers in the Mosques in time. With respect to Sunnah and Nawafil.  Zikar, our Mosques need to be full in the Fajr Prayers and not just on Friday Prayers and Ramadan.

3) Reading of Quran and trying to understand it to bring change in our life, and help us understand the world we living better. And try to understand the sayings and teachings of Prophet Mohammed ssa.  Our book of guidance should be Quran should be most dear to us.

4) Be a good Mannered Muslim, Transact in our day to day life in full compliance with people around us and our how Allah and the teachings of Prophet want us to.  The world should respect us because we are Muslims. We should generate liking form Islam in our fellow human beings, and attract them towards Islam by our manners and deeds and dealings.

5) Pay the Poor Due and Zakat and spend what ever we can in the cause of Allah and to give relief to the poor and the needy in the society and family.

And be thankful to Allah for blessing you that you are expected to give it is very much possible that he could have kept you on the side of receiving zakat and charity.

Think about this it will make you understand the pain and agony and discomfort millions of people in the world are going thru due to lack of food, clothing, and basic needs of life.

This will make us to pay millions of Shuker to Allah for being kind to us for not putting us among in disadvantaged.

6) Be trust worthy and truthful, in all times and be just in all times and

7) Be good to the Parents and Family respect the right of the Parents, Wife, and Children near family and friends, and neighbours.

7) Make our Earning Halal, and Consume only Halal, And Refrain form all that is Haram ( Forbidden)

8) Be the one who cares for mankind and respects the creation of Allah and justify our stand on Islam so that they respect Islam. And never hurt any one unjustly.

9) And never transgerros the limits laid by Allah and His messenger.

Dawah Demands Deeds

Justice Apology in Beard Case

Jusctice Kutju we Congratulate for  Respecting the Sentiments of Muslims of India.

This blog  authored by  adil mh and and carried a an article condemning the statement of  Mr. Katju “Beard is not Talibanization of Nation” by adil mh  in April 2009 see link

now that he has apologised as per the reports in National Papers this requires me to congratulate him on his broadminded gesture in the interest of the nation, respect of Muslims, and up holding justice in India.

English Media on 6th  July 2009 reports as below.

New Delhi, July 6: The Supreme Court today recalled a  judgment rejecting a Muslim student’s right to keep a beard in violation of school rules and referred it to the Chief Justice to be heard again.

Salim had said no one had the right to interfere with religious beliefs in a secular country and sought quashing of the school regulation requiring students to be clean shaven. But Justice Katju said: “We don’t want to have Talibans in the country.”

When lawyer B.A. Khan argued that sporting a beard was a fundamental tenet of Islam, the judge said: “But you don’t sport a beard.”

A high court verdict supporting the decision of Nirmala Convent Higher Secondary School, Bhopal, to expel Salim for defying rules was upheld.

The apex court today said: “During the hearing, certain observations were made by one of us. His intentions were not to offend anyone. However, if anyone’s feelings have been hurt he apologises and expresses his regret in the matter.”

An apology of this sort is rare in the court’s annals. The last time, the apex court had been forced to do that was when a judge had acquitted a rapist on the ground that the victim was a woman of loose morals.

Salim’s petition will now be heard afresh by a bench picked by the CJI.

By a Aplogy  you Justice Katju Sir have raised the Juscitce System and yourself  to a  level high.

The Apology by Honourable Justice Markandey Katju, who had said he didn’t want “Talibans in the country”, while hearing Mohammed Salim’s petition, is highly appreciated and this makes the Justice System and Judiciary strong in India.  We know judges are also human beings they can also in the spurt of the moment may say things which by intention may not be to hurt some one. But the Justice Katju has proved to be a good Indian and a Good Protector of Law, his very realization of possible hurt is appreciable.

“Shirk” A Major Sin.

July 8, 2009 Leave a comment

Alhamdulilah " How nice is the Creation of Allah"

Alhamdulilah " How nice is the Creation of Allah"

Shirk In the Qur’an, shirk and the related word  mushrikūn (مشركون) “those who commit shirk and plot against Islam” often clearly refers to the enemies of Islam

Shirk (Arabic: شرك‎) is the Islamic concept of the sin of polytheism specifically, but in a more general way refers to worshipping other than Allah, associating partners with him, giving his characteristics to others beside him, or not believing in his characteristics.

Within Islam, Major Shirk is a forgivable sin if one repents from it while one is alive, but according to Islamic texts, anyone who dies upon this sin will never enter paradise.  It is the vice that is opposed to the virtue of tawhid, literally “declaring [that which is] one”, often translated into the English term monotheism

9-3 in Quran

And a declaration from Allah and His Messenger to mankind on the greatest day (the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah – the 12th month of Islamic calendar) that Allah is free from (all) obligations to the Mushrikun and so is His Messenger. So if you (Mushrikun) repent, it is better for you, but if you turn away, then know that you cannot escape (from the Punishment of) Allah. And give tidings (O Muhammad SAW) of a painful torment to those who disbelieve.

Shirk is defined in various ways.

Islamic commentators on the Qur’an have emphasized that pre-Islamic Arabic idolatry made a number of godlings (most memorably the three goddesses al-Manāt, al-Lāt and ˤUzzā) equal associates of Allah (as the Qur’an discusses in the 53rd surat) and the word mushrikūn is often translated into English as “polytheists”.

Other forms of shirk include the worship of wealth and other material objects. This is pointed in the Qur’an in one of the story of the Children of Israel, when they took a calf made of gold for worship

(Qur’an 7:148-150).

: And the people of Musa (Moses) made in his absence, out of their ornaments, the image of a calf (for worship). It had a sound (as if it was mooing). Did they not see that it could neither speak to them nor guide them to the way? They took it for worship and they were Zalimun (wrong-doers).

Another form of shirk is to revere a leader (religious or not) beyond limits, as mentioned in

Qur’an (9:31).

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilah (God – Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).”

In a theological context one commits shirk by associating some lesser being with Allah. This sin is committed if one imagines that there is some other spirit than Allah whom it is suitable to worship

 Categories of Major Shirk

Derived from the Qur’an and the prophetic tradition (Sunnah), there are three main categories of Shirk in Islam.

 a. Shirk in Rubūbīyah (Lordship)

This category of Shirk refers to either the belief that others share God’s Lordship over creation as His equal or near equal, or to the belief that there exists no Lord over creation at all . Shirk by Associatin – This is the shirk concerned with associating ‘others’ with Allah. Shirk by negation – This is Shirk in Rubūbīyah (Lordship)

This category of Shirk refers to either the belief that others share God’s Lordship over creation as His equal or near equal, or to the belief that there exists no Lord over creation at all.

  b. Shirk in al-Asma was-Sifat (the names and attributes of Allah)

Shirk in this category includes both the common pagan practice of giving God the attributes of His creation as well as the act of giving created beings God’s names and attributes. Shirk by humanization – In this aspect of Shirk in al-Asma was-Sifat, God is given the form and qualities of human beings and animals. Due to man’s superiority over animals, the human form is more commonly used by idolaters to represent God in creation.

Consequently, the image of the Creator is often painted, moulded or carved in the shape of human beings possessing the physical features of those who worship them. Shirk by deification – This form of Shirk in al-Asma was-Sifat relates to cases where created beings or things are given or claim God’s names or His attributes

Shirk In al-‘Ibadah (Worship)

In this category of Shirk, acts of worship are directed to other than Allah and the reward for worship is sought from the creation instead of the Creator. As in the case of the previous categories, Shirk in al-‘Ebadah has two main aspects.

  • Ash-Shirk al-Akbar (Major Shirk) – This form of Shirk occurs when any act of worship is directed to other than Allah. It represents the most obvious form of idolatry which the prophets were specifically sent by God to call the masses of mankind away from. Examples of this shirk, asking forgiveness, admittance to paradise and other things that only Allah can provide, from other than Allah.

Ash-Shirk al-Asghar (Minor Shirk)

Minor Shirk Mahmud ibn Lubayd reported, “God’s messenger said: “The thing I fear for you the most is ash-Shirk al-Asghar (minor shirk).” The companions asked “Oh! messenger of God, what is minor Shirk?” He replied “Ar-Riya (showing off), for verily God will say on the Day of Resurrection when people are receiving their rewards, ‘Go to those for whom you were showing off in the material world and see if you can find any reward from them.”

Secret Shirk Mahmud ibn Lubayd also said, “The Prophet came out and announced, ‘O people, beware of secret Shirk!’ The people asked, ‘O messenger of God, what is secret Shirk?’ He replied, ‘When a man gets up to pray and strives to beautify his prayer because people are looking at him; that is secret Shirk.”

Swearing by other than Allah This is considered minor Shirk, unless the one who swore believes that whoever he swore by is equal to or worthy of Allah’s worth. Some might suggest  “Believeing Some Worldly Power” as a form of secret shirk because it is believing that some other worldly power can repay you with justice or injustice for your deeds in the world when the truth is only Allah (God) has power over what and when something will happen to you.

Luck is one other form of Shirk. Luck is a form of shirk because it is also entails believing that something other than Allah can bring upon good or bad.

Book of Belief.  Sahih Bukahari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 31:

Narrated ‘Abdullah: When the following Verse was revealed: “It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with wrong (worshipping others besides Allah.)” (6:83), the companions of Allah’s Apostle asked, “Who is amongst us who had not done injustice (wrong)?” Allah revealed: “No doubt, joining others in worship with Allah is a great injustice (wrong) indeed.” (31.13)

Oh Allah guard us against all the forms of Shirk and keep our hearts firm on you and raise us on the day of judgement among those who kept their faith free from Shirk. Amin

in 62 years of independence we failed to give comfort of class room to our children

in 62 years of independence we failed to give comfort of class room to our children

There is Still Wide Gap in Areas like Infrastructure, Quality, and Delivery in our Educational System even if we assume the new reform package is in place in 100 days.

The Govt takes a Bold Stand ( & This will be the first measure which this govt. will be able to take as it has the numbers in the Parliament and one good measure and benefit of getting a stable and  progressive govt at the centre.  )

1. in far-reaching reforms, Government proposed making 10th board examination optional and setting up of a single school board at the national level for a uniform examination for class 12.

2. A new scheme of interest subsidy on educational loans for professional courses by economically weaker students will be launched in the first 100 days of the UPA government, HRD Minister Kapil Sibal told reporters in New Delhi.

“We must diagrammatise education. It cannot be traumatic for parents and children. This is unacceptable,” the Minister said unveiling the education agenda. The minister need to be congratulated for understanding the stress driven years of burdened educational systems, was burdening of our children.

3. Government will also introduce a system to replace the present assessment procedure of giving marks with grades which will reduce stress, he said.

4. The single board would replace 33 boards in the country including CBSE and CISCE and hold a uniform examination for all students on the pattern of combined law admission test being organised for admission to law institutions.

“By appearing in a single board, a student can decide which university he wants to go. It is happening in the law (courses). The aim is to reduce the trauma,” he said adding that states would be consulted on the issue.

Taking note of students and their parents complaining of sleepless nights at the time of board examinations, Sibal said the government wants to make 10th examinations optional for students wishing to continue in the same school.

I have a point to make at this point in the frame of measures the Minister has proposed to be implemented by the govt.

We are  more than sixty year aged elderly nation, and we have 70 to 80 percent of the population living in the rural areas, with exception to few we have the several issues still unresolved in our primary and upper primary and high school functioning , like,

our schools today

our schools today , we have failed to give our children comfort of class room

1, Infrastructure failure – Most of the schools in villages at Mandal level do not have proper school buildings, with basic sanitation, and power, in cases where there are buildings there are no furniture to sit on and study.

2. Not Enough Quality Teachers. – The Nation is struggling to pool in quality teaching staff in the rural areas, we do not see good conditions for the teachers who have to travel long distances to reach to the schools in the rural areas, there is lack of motivation in them due to failure by the system to take care of them, both monetary and comforts for our teachers. The Minister is requested to take note of this aspect and set up a commission to improve the teaching quality by increasing teachers and giving them proper pay scales, and facilities and make them accountable for the performance of the children.

3. Lack of Transport. The child is dependent of local transport which is not frequent some area no means of transport in such conditions it should be our responsibility that, Each Mandal should have a centralised collection of the children from different villages based on the no of villages in a particular mandal no of schools to be set up and monitored by a monitory body stationed at the manual.   And Secured movement and care of the child should be ensured.

Proposal for Centralised Education control at Mandal level.  With a vigilant enforcement agency on move to check the performance, the infrastructural needs, and quality of staff and teachers performance, assessment of the standards of education of the students. Can be a good idea.

One Board of fine, but there should be

One Infarstrucre Quality,

One Teaching Quality, And

One Assessment Quality across the Nation,

for the Poor and the Rich alike and the Urban and the Rural alike.

Then we can say India is looking ahead to take the rural and the urban child together and we are serious to bring the real and effective revolution in our Education

5. “If a student wants to go for pre-university course, he may appear for 10th board exam. But in case of a student pursuing the course in the same school, he need not appear in the class-10 exam for promotion to class-11,” Sibal said, adding that an internal assessment would suffice.

Government will review the functioning of existing deemed universities which have come under spotlight following allegations of heavy capitation fee charged by some of these institutions.

6. An autonomous overarching authority for higher education and research based on the recommendations of Yashpal committee and the National Knowledge Commission would be established.

Sibal said a law will be enacted to prevent, prohibit and punish educational malpractices. For the disadvantaged sections of the society, Equal Opportunity Offices would be created in all universities, he said adding a new policy on distance learning would be formulated.

Right to Education of Every Child in India.

7. The ambitious bill to provide free and compulsory education to children in the age group of 6 to 14 will be taken up during the budget session.

This is a measure that is long over due and should have been the first measure the moment India got Independence in 1947 from the British this is thought now and should not remain a thought. Every Indian has a right to be educated the choice of giving education should be with the nation and every Indian should be educated so that no Indian should regret for not being provided with the basic education hear after.

Madrasa to Come under CBSE Fold With out Hampering the Religious Education:

Children In Madrasa

8. The government also wants to set up an All India Madrassa Board which will award degrees equivalent to CBSE and other boards. The board will frame policy to impart secular and technical education to Muslims without interfering with the religious teachings. “We will strive to evolve a consensus on this issue,” he said.

This is fine move it is so good to know that Mr. Kapil Sibal appreciates that the Indian Muslim Child   who is student in  a Madras getting religious knowledge, should also has to be taken in the main stream and be treated with same care and concern like any other student or any other child our nation. This can be debated on few grounds, but, this is good for the Muslim Children who are in Madras’s to be brought in to Main Stream.
