The Delegation of EKTA RRM (Relief and Reconciliation Manch India) Meet the visiting Members Mrs. Bilgirami Imam and Mr Harvender Sing, of the National Minorities Commission, on 14 th of March at Hyderabad Lake View Guest house.  The commission was in Hyderabad to assess what was the core reason for the recent riots in the Old City of Hyderabad and also some parts in the new city of Hyderabad.

They met several political parties, and social organizations to collect on ground information and data to assess the reasons behind and the actions taken by the Govt and its agencies to monitor and control the disturbances, and various help and relief efforts by social NGO’s and govt agencies. And what was the role of the department of Home and the actions of the Police force in the city of Hyderabad during the Riots and after.

We the Ekta RRM Delegation met the Members of the Minorities Commission and the following points were discussed and briefed to the satisfaction of the Commission.

We have to accept the Department had a senior Police officer Mr. Rao who was also present at the meeting which was help at Lake View Guest house. Various points were discussed by the members of delegation of EKTA, to highlight few I am listing them in brief below on asked by the Member of NMC, what was the reason for the Riots to occur.

Mr. Adil took the question to explain to the commission and inform that the delegation has reason and content to observe that the Roits were engineered and the people involved were out spiders with a intention to disturb the communal harmony and peace in the City and burden the people on the City and create some sort of insatiability and unrest with intentions well known to the detractors.

Mr. Adil and making a point to the members of the NMC in Hyderabad on Roits in Old city. 2010 March representing EKTA delegation. Adil Mohd also told the Commission that the people of the city were surprised to see huge presence of a section of the community in to the procession which otherwise was a low key affair in the past years. He said even the locals from the same community and section of the people were shocked and were in great hurt and fear who these people are and why are they hear.

The reporting in the Local news Papers like Deccan Chronicle and others were seen printing and accusing certain outside elements, who were part of plan to disrupt communal harmony and peace and destabilize the normal life in the City and show the state govt in to bad light.

Speaking to the Commission Mr. Turab and Mrs. Noorjahan, were of the opinion that there are random arrests from the affected area of young boys without proper allegation and reasoning and proper authority and documentary evidence, and in some cases they arrested boys were not know and this practice is very improper and may lead to misuse by miscreants in the dark of the night.

Adding to this point Mr. Vedya Kumar President of Better Hyderabad appealed to the Commission that there has to be a procedure which will not violet the human rights and a innocent is no harassed and punished if it happens the system will be committing a grave act of violation of human rights, any person if arrested should be by proper procedure as per the IPC act.

Further speaking to the Commission  the delegation raised the issue of relief that was provided to the effected BPL families with the help of the police in the area, and Mr. Adil also praised the efficient services of the department of Police and the swift and effective manner in which the Police Commissioner and his able team controlled the situation.

Though it was also told by the delegation, the issuing of permission on for Monday Procession to a section of the community was given the out proper assessment of the situation and it should not have been given as due to a day before some clashes occurred on the issue of buntings and flags of two communities and some police stations were already in Curfew and the conspirators were already getting some success to disturb peace in the city.

The Commission was informed that the city communities were in full harmony and they are not for any violence and enmity but for the inciting and some change of perks by the conspirators to few anti social elements in both the communities, who were used as tool in the hands of the opportunists and conspirators to make the evil designs get success.

The history of the is full of laurel of Communal Harmony and unity and long cultural unification, this was the impression Mr.Nanak Sing And Mr. Naseer of COVA, who told the Members of the Commission and he also said this had happened by few goondas and very bad people who should be punished.

Lastly, the MEC President Adil MH and the author of this blog and your friend, also told the Minorities Commission that his organization MEC is working to raise the issues of Empowerment of the Minorities of India, and he felt that any unified and sustainable civilized growth demands that justice should prevail and the rights of all citizens of the great Nation India be they the Majority or Minority should be addressed and solved at the earliest.

He also hoped the representation by Ekta to the commission to set up and enquiry on the reasons and how few people with vested interests were allowed and were successful in disturbing life and damaging property and killing innocent people and putting dent in the communal harmony of the city, and effect the poorest in the poor the BPL Families who have to dig their well daily to take few drops of water to quench their thirst, i.e. is they are dependent on daily wages and works.  And book them and bring them to justice, and punish the conspirators, at the earliest.

The delegation requested for immediate relief to the victims and informed the commission that EKTA will continue to work for unity and peace in the society and in the nation and has formed different committee to address various issues on continuous basis. Sir When are we going to learn to keep the religion within the houses and places of worships ONLY. Why is that any festival is Celebrated with Undue Hues and Cries at the PUBLIC PLACES and the ROADS.RELIFION SHOULD NOT BE UNECESSARY HIGHLIGHTED ON THE ROADS LOCALITIES PUBLIC PLACES OR GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS. WHAT WAS THE NEED OF SO MANY FLAGS COSTING THOUSANDS AND LAKHS OF RUPEES TO BE PUT ON THE BIRTHDAY(MILAD UN NABI) of PROPHET MOHAMMED PBUH. SHALL I ASK MY MUSLIM BRETHEREN WHETHER ON THIS AUSPICIOUS DAY ANY FLAGS WERE PUT IN THE HOLY STATE OF SAUDI ARABIA .SO WHY SHOULD THE TRADITIONS or RITIUALS THAT ARE NOT PART OD THE SHARA (ISLAMIC LAW) BE FOLLOWED in INDIA or ANY OTHER COUNTRIES. SIMPLE JUST FOR POLITICAL GAINS. THE AMOUNT THAT WAS SPENT ON THE FLAGS THAT SPARKED OF THE COMMUNAL RIOTS COULD HAVE BEEN UTILISED FOR NOBLE CAUSES OF THE POOR LIKE FOOD SHELTER EDUCATION MEDICATION MARRIAGES SELF EMPLPOYMENT etc etc.PLEASE DO NOT ENTERTAIN SHOWOF OF THE RELGIOUS SENTIMENTS AT PUBLIC PLACES.
