file picture of Sheob Mallik with Siddiqui in Hyderabad - Sheob is a free man now, she will marry Sania Mirza on 15 th April

The episode of Mirzas, Siddiquis, and Malliks, is over but not with out washing the dirty linen in on to the streets in both the nations, India and Pakistan, the big looser is city of Hyderabad which has off tracked for its traditional, decency, and good senses, pulled the city and the dignity to the levels so low, not seen ever before.

This was saga of lies, allegations, and counter allegations by both the parties, the dorsa, is now on the Media which could not take it to the climax and make the full tamasha of the whole episode.

The Media has passed a judgment that Shoeb Mallik is a liar and not a trust worthy character. As he denied being in marriage to Ayshia on Wed 7th April signed a on the dotted line to divorce Ayesha.

On the other hand the Siddquies have with drawing the complaint against Shoeb and were all relieved by Ayseha’s Mother saying “my daughter is very happy, this is what she wanted, divorce and there is no money involved”  They all want the fans and the world to believe there is no underhand deal or money attached to this whole compromise. This is for the readers and the viewers to the channels to deicide.   Read more…

Time to expose Rioters, of Old City.

April 7, 2010 3 comments

Come 5 pm the busiest business Road of Old City Madina Builing to Charminar and Gulzar House wears a deserted look, with the police effectively enforcing 5 pm to 8 am curfew. There seems to be an uneasy comfort as th police is not very confident to go for lifting the curfew, as yet.

The people of Old City have undergone losses which will be difficult to cover-up in three to six months.  BPL is under shock and stress, with uncertainty.

The business community is pained and is finding it difficult to understand what actually went wrong and how are they going to cover the loss, and how will they come back to normal fast, a trader, Ramcahran, a whole sale dealer of oils was complaining of loss of contracts with few of his suppliers and consumers.

The New city also got effected as nearly 25 to 30 percent of the work force which works in the new and hate city area comes from Old city, like the technicians, drivers, painters, carpenters, category 2 and 3 employees.

Also the IT professionals come from Old city especially in IT companies like GE, Infosys, Deloit and Google.

That also puts breaks on the normal functioning of New City offices and business centers and malls. And theatres and trading centers. Read more…

All Party meet ends, parties “sing all is not well”. MIM Demands Presidents rule in AP.

January 5, 2010 Leave a comment

Asaduddin Owaisi MP, and his party MIM, maintains the non comital stand, on Telangana.

As expected the exercise ended with no improvement on the present state of affairs in the state of AP. In fact all parties in a joint statement after the meeting have appealed to the people of the state to maintain law and order and peace and allow the democratic means to take the centre stage.

But individually the parties look as before with no greater improvement in their stand, in favour or against the state of Telangana.

The Home Minister took the brief of the discussion he had with the political parties to the PM for appraising what had been discussed in the meeting.  A statement may come to this effect,  by the late evening.

The expectation is PC or PM may,  request again to all the parties who attended and the people of the state to have restrain and maintain peace and normalcy in all the regions of the state.

Meanwhile they may request the political parties to work for consensus, and hopefully govt may accept the demand by some  parties like, PRP and MIM, who wanted govt to form of a committee to discuss the issue for reaching to a broader consensus.

The MIM has kept its cards close to its chest. The Member of Parliament and Leader of MIM Assaduddin Owaisi remained uncommitted on the issue of Telangana.  He has neither supported its formation nor denied it.

Earlier in the day the media reported MIM as  a party which may oppose formation of the separate state out of  AP. But that did not happen.

Speaking to the Media after the meeting the MP said that ” The Muslims are a party to the Issue”  without elaborating he said ” His party requested the govt in the view of the growing violence, failure to maintain law and order, economic crisis… the state should be put on President’s rule for bringing  back the normalcy in the state.

Assaduddin Owaisi also requested the govt.  on behalf of the party, for formation of committee if possible headed by a Supreme Court Judge and with bureaucrats, representation of all the parties to find a solution to  the issue. In the event of such committees formation the MIM will give its opinion on the issue then. In absence of such committee,  he said  MIM party will give their stand of the issue to the Home Minister.

This stand taken by the MIM is seen as political statement, with no clarity by some, and some appreciate it as a wise statement in  seeing the type of confusion prevailing in the state.

All the major parties to the dispute TRS, BJP, CPi, CON, TDP and PRP have maintained their earlier stand for and against  Telangana, the mood is dampened.  How the things will unfold after the final statement of the result of this meeting after consultation with PM by the HM will have to see.

Has the state pulled in to further uncertainty, with no respite to the students, business small and big, officials, general public, of the state.

This has become like,  IPL series,  only a few matches are played till now, their seems to be long way to go before the quarters, semis, and the finals are played.

what will be the time frame  for this series,  even the managers of the game do  not know.

How can we expect the teams to comment on. Like always the spectators are at loss,  this has become like Kotla Pitch the match is called off in the mid,  with the the people of  Andhra Pradesh on the recieving end.

Telangana or United Andhra, Rivals meet to reach to a consences.

January 5, 2010 1 comment

can history be witness to a role to hlep peace and value for aspirations of all concerned by thi this city of mosques, and cultural richness

The meeting will see the participation of Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), CPM, CPI, BJP and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM).

The Battle lines are drawn, the political partiies are divided, Congress and TDP, struggleing to keep their house intact. Congress and TDP though in favour of formation of Telangana state are in a cautious act,  over Telangana. TRS, CPI and BJP expect Congress and TDP will not further delay in honouring the comitments and stands taken in them over formation of Telangana.

As the day progreses more clarity will be seen, back home in Andhra, Rayaleema, and Telangana the people are tence and are not very optimistic a quick soution or a clear line of action towards the formation of Tealngana will come out of this all party meeting. Is this going to the like all other excercieses to buy time and gradully take the issue in to leagal and political hinderances is to be seen.

There is a new angle emerging to the issue, with experts arguing, that the formation of Andhara Pradesh was formed on the basis of Language in 1956 can it be undone now, may be this would require a special reference by the President of  India, and legal consultation too.

Let us wait for the evening, like all in AP are,  my prayer would be what ever the out come the peace and botherhood in the region shold not be hurt.  Let us hope for the best.

Chidambaram likes the state to stop bandhs, he likes to promote the good sense and allow the door of talks, and discussions to be upheld and in democratic system the parliamentary democracy political parties are the reflection of the aspirations of the people.

The door of talks  should be the medium for resolution of any confilict. and saying no to voilence. The flared up sentiments, in all regions looks like will have to tone down and give the democratic and parliamentary porceudres to take the centre stage rather than voilence.

“Cat on the Wall” Politicians Punished, in Telangana. Statement of PC added fuel to fire in AP.

December 24, 2009 Leave a comment

For a change the Politician at the receiving end. Law is on a holiday in Andhra Pradesh, and TRS chief says Andhra Pradesh is non-existent.

The Cat on the Wall Position of various Political Parties, and the Politicians for several years in the Sate of  Andhra Pradesh over the Issue of formation of state of Telangana entered an absolutely intolerable stage in the recent times.

Since the 9th Dec Statement by the Home Minister P Chidambaram which was clear and in favour of formation of a state for Telangana Region, In his statement Mr. P C said the govt will like to start the process of carving a separate state of Telangana looking in the aspirations and concerns of the demands by the people of the Telangana region.

The Political parties couple of days prior to the central govt statement in favour of Telnagana State formation witnessed willingness and a clear stand in favour of Telangana by the Political Parties leaders like TDP Chadrababu Naidu and PRP Chiranjeevi supporting the formation of a state and to move a resolution to this effect in the state assembly.

The sentiments both Telangana and in Andhra Regions are so widely raised among the Political Parties that the Political Party heads found it almost reduced them to non performing heads of the parties with no control what so ever on any of the MLS’s and MP’s and the cadre, in such situation seeing the turmoil the same leaders who supported for the formation of a separate state backed out and started blaming the govt and the Home Minister for untimely and midnight drama and a hasty  by the Centre, in favour of Telangana with our takeing in to account the parties concerned.

This was seen as a major set back in the translate on the latest statement given on the eve of Christmas from the Congress High Command thru Home Minister Chidambaram where in he indicated almost as putting the Issue of Telangana on Back burner due to a  fortnight of intense campaign by leaders of coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions against bifurcation of the state which was countered by pro-Telangana groups, Home Minister P Chidambaram made a brief statement saying “a large number of political parties are divided on the issue”.

“There is a need to hold wide-ranging consultations with all political parties and groups in the state. Government of India will take steps to involve all concerned in the process,” he said at a hurriedly called press conference. He read out a four para statement but took no questions.

Justifying the December 9 statement made by him on initiating the process for forming Telangana state, Chidambaram said “however, after the statement the situation has altered.

Chidambaram’s announcement drew immediate condemnation from TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao who met leaders of various parties from the region and called it a “betrayal”.  This erupted wide range of violence and arson in the State Capital  Hyderabad of Andhra Pradesh. The students of Osmania University  greeted the TDP leaders Nagam Janardhan Reddy and likes with Chappell and damaged their vehicles, in protest to their action of playing politics of Cat on the Wall by keeping the issue of  Telangana on Hanger and allowing to dry.

Political Clarity and truthful political culture is missing, in all the political parties of the Nation, each is working to promote and strengthen its base with no concern or value for what the people want we are a democracy but with a difference how different are we democratic to make it easy for the political system to make us mere spectators.

Govt. at Centre to Carve a Separte State of Telangana.

Telangana State gets a nod from the centre.

Hyderabad, Dec 10 (PTI) The decision to carve out a separate state of Telangana, which will take the total number of states in the Union to 29, comes at the end of a 40-year- old struggle for a distinct identity. This comes after a gap of nine years when three new states were carved out. Jharkhand split from Bihar on November 15, 2000 to become the 28th state while Uttarakhand split from UP on November 9 and Chattisgarh was created on November one the same year.

Telangana to get statehood

Andhra Pradesh has 23 districts, including the state capital Hyderabad, in three regions coastal Andhra (nine), Rayalaseema (four) and Telangana (ten).

Since its inception in 2001, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has been fighting for creation of a separate Telangana state. Telangana region now accounts for 119 of the 294 seats in the Assembly and 17 of the 42 Lok Sabha members. Telangan region comprises Hyderabad, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Warangal, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Khammam and Mahbubnagar.

The demand for a separate state began in 1969 but the Congress then had stoutly opposed any move for additional linguistic states. Disillusioned by it, firebrand Congress leader M Channa Reddy broke away and formed the Telangana Praja Samithi (Telangan Popular Association) in 1969. The first movement of a separate Telangana state started met with a gory end in 1971. As a counter, the “Jai Andhra” agitation was taken up in 1972-73.
