Shining Stars,Obama & Rahul

March 26, 2010 1 comment

Rahul Gandhi, on way to see his Vision for Change as reality with the support of Indian Youth.

Rahul Gandhi ji,  is a force which is like the one which emanated in United States of America in the year 2008, a star started to shine, with a definite vision, backed with a golden heart which could hear the pain and the language of the beat of a suffering disadvantaged American, irrespective of Religion, Color, and Caste.  The star to shine on the horizon the galaxies was a humble but, intelligent, humorous, but firm and assertive like a volcano.  I mean my own, Barack Obama, the new voice of the poor, and suffering people of America, and the progressive youth, of America.

He promised change and he kept his promise. He won as President, took tough measures to pull the economy back on track in most adverse condition, still pushing.  He promised a Health care Bill to make health affordable for each American.  He is my angel and his speeches are like songs of hope, inviting breeze of prosperity for US people.

Brave Rahul for “A Corruption Free India”

March 17, 2010 4 comments

Mahatma Gandhi, once said "You must be the change you want to see in the world" is the youngest of Gandhi's Rahul try to relive the quotes of Mahatma.

This  quote, Rahul  Gandhi, used   “Money Doesn’t Corrupt Politics – Politics Corrupts Money.”  Is to remind us that  “Power Corrupts.”  The people who are brave enough to control the temptations  which come with power, become good leaders.

In the yesterday 15 th March SC  apex court observation, on how the public distribution system is corrupt in our Indian, present day system, is shameful.

The judgment is very clearly indicating a nexus to drain allotted public funds, in most dubious manner.  In midst of the judgment and corrupt allegations on Mayawati govt.

A Bold statement and quote of Rahul  ji on Corruption, is a clear sign of him being clean and plain hearted individual, who is holding guard for the ruling party Congress. Read more…

Thousnads braved thick fog, to witness Republic Day Celebrations in Capital. 26th Jan 2010

January 26 th.  Indian,  National Festival.

Republic Day is one of the greatest national celebrations observed throughout the country on January 26 every year. India became Republic on the 26th Jan, 1950. The country became a sovereign democratic republic with a written constitution and an elected parliament

At the time of independence, although India was under British rule, there were 565 Princely States, big and small, ruled by powerful sovereigns who were protected by treaties of alliance with the British Crown. Without bringing them together, the fundamental unity of the country was not possible. This unification was accomplished by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose statesmanship helped to integrate the country into one nation. In a little less than 2 years, all the princely States became a part of the Republic of India. Read more…

Dynastic Culture in Indian Politics.

What is so magical about them, the Gandhi’s. India has loved them so much they have governed for more than 45 years and still governing and going strong. Is it quality of leadership, integirty, sacrifice, love of people, or just the family. I don’t think it can be just the family they have more in them.
Are they Smarter Families, or is it  Just, “Luck by chance.”

Every person dedicated to give his best and contribute positively in affairs of the nation and its people under any political setup, can not be sidelined, as long as he puts nation before self. Having said this.

India is no different from nations of the world, when it comes to growing influence of families that take. centre stage in politics of nations. Read more…

Ruchika is victim of our system, that is corrupt, indiffrent, insensitve and irresponsible. Rathore’s will smile, and rule as long as we don’t change our system.

December 26, 2009 1 comment

Ruchika victim of our system, how many more ruchikas should sacrifice before the systme chnages.

The question faced today by the Nation is how will we bring back the lost glory of our ethical and moral value system that we enjoyed and inherited in the past ages from our forefathers and the cultural gurus and protectors of the moral schools in our part of the World.

Who is really to be blamed for the abuse and misuse of power, contact and money in the case of Ruchika,  she gave her life not withstanding the agony and failure to beat the system and power of a ruthless and manipulative powerful officer on duty Rathode.

She suffered three years of unbearable agony and abuse, with her family shattered and fragmented, asking for justice running from pillar to post, the several social and community bodies supporting her and raising her plea with the authorities of the time failing to get speedy justice for her and her family.

If this is case with the victim supported advocated so strongly gets raw deal by our system, then we know what will the fate of the thousands out there struggling for justice in some form or the other in our wide nation.

The root to this is deeper, the society we are in today is to be blamed, our ethical and moral system has suffered most, we the people are not truly concern about what happens around us, we are not ready to challenge the system most of the time we surrender to the system run by the powerful and wealthy, surrendering  this will not change and nothing can be done to it, we shelve our thoughts and get along with our routine.

We need to inculcate, values, respect our being human beings, and learn to grow as good sensible, and protective people who can raise to the occasions and be brave and assertive to drive fear in the detractors, and manipulators of law, and degrades of our society.

We have bad to very bad examples to be worried about,  we are see and hearing every day on our neighbourhood, in our city, in our print and electronic media. The lessons are not  learned it is apparent.

How many more Ruchikas and families like her, need to pay the price and suffer before the system changes.

Who are the real culprits. Can we say we are not part of the problem,  with great concern for our future as a nation, I am afraid we can’t.

Supporters indicipline, landed Jagan Mohan Reddy on sticky pitch. Jagan said not important to be CM now.

Jagan Mohan who has the caring touch of YSR, with a Flood victim in Cuddapah.

Jagan Mohan who has the caring touch of YSR, with a Flood victim in Cuddapah.

Jagan not keen to be CM of AP at least for now, this is a huge anticlimax to, his campaign to be CM of AP and to inherit the legacy of YSR

Jagan also renewed his appealed to party workers to strengthen the hands of Sonia Gandhi the Congress President.

Who is to be held responsible for the set back  Jagan is faced with, is it the indiciplined supporters of Jagan, who made is rough for Jagan.

Not all  went right in the hour-long meeting between Congress President Sonia Gandhi and son of late YSR’s son and MP from Cuddapah in Andhra Pradesh.

This blog,  right from the day YSR the un questioned leader of AP  lost his life in a tragic Helicopter accident in Nalamala Hills near Kurnool, This blog raised several times the damage the supporters are causing to the interests of Jagan Mohan Reddy. and the legacy of YSR.

All the actions, and reactions by few of the ministers, in the state cabinet, and many MLS’s in the Assemble and few MP’s who openly violated the party discipline and wanted to be in very good books of the son of their leader YS Rajsheker Reddy forgot the fact that each of there action and word when acted and spelled against the norms of the party discipline can go against Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Repeated requests by the leaders of Congress and Many parity stalwarts did not discipline the unruly congressmen who heralded there support and posed as well wishers to the son of YSR. Even repeated appeal even by Jagan Mohan Reddy did not drive sence in them.  The result is a continued uncertainty to the future political responsibilities to be shouldered by Jangan Mohan Reddy.

Who else will understand more the damage these indicipline lot did by running a non co-operation to  the Present CM Roshaiah who has been a loyalist to YSR and seasoned worker of Congress who never objected to any responsibility given by High command and was willing even to put his papers if the high command wanted to make room for Jagan as CM.

Some sections of the media  reported, few details of the meeting with Sonia Gandhi and Ahmed Patel.

Thru very respectable and reliable sources what exactly happened in the meeting which was attended by  Ahmed Patel  a Senior Congress leader and confidant of Sonia Gandhi and KVP Ramchander Rao the friend and right hand of YSR .   It is understood that few questions were asked to Jangan Mohan Reddy by Ahmed Patel and Sonia Gandhi, which Jagan Mohan Reddy did not expect he would be asked.

There where question like

” Mr. Jagan do you think you are having the experience and capabilities to head as CM to a such an Important and large State Like AP ?”

” Mr. Jagan as you will find difficulty in discussing with the top leaders in Congress we requested KVP to be present to help you in discussing with the leaders of Congress”

“Mr. Jangan Please make sure that  the CM Roshiah is respected and attended with full cooperation by all for smooth working of the govt.”

“Mr. Jangan some of the MLA’s called as ……………..and are not very sure …….about their support”

All question  originated from the very irresponsible and   acts of the MLA’s and MInisters who did not really knew what is the real interest of  Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The High command is firm and determined to keep the party discipline on its top priority, come what may.

Still the good thing is Mrs Sonia Gandhi will find a formula to protect the pride and legacy of YSR by a master move. What that move will be and when, still is not clear.

Where will the  “undisciplined  lot hide now, after embracing Jagan Mohan Reddy and not really helping him the way it was actually needed to be by being patient and obedient and takeing one thing at a time. The better lot of his supporters who genuinely were favouring Jagan are at pain, to see the situation changing in to long battle rather a comfortable walk, for their leader.

Jagan Praised Roshiah the present CM too, during the meeting. And left every thing to the High command, there are also unconfirmed  reports that he may to asked to takeup one of the Ministries at Centre.

Congress is in a strong position with three win in three state in recent assembly elections.

There will be no tolerance to congress men who resort to messing arround and air confusion and indicipline with party and its leadership in state and centre.

Sonia Gandhi is a huge successes when it comes to crisis management she has the wisdom and courage to act best in the worst situations.

Congress on Cloud Nine. With Maharashtra, Arunchal and Haryana retained. BJP should scratch window of wisdom.

Colours of Congress Shine while the Saffron Colour Fades. 2009 Assemble Tri Victory of Secular Forces is Begining of a Rahul Lead 2014

Congress Waves its Hand signaling  they are  Ahead.
Hindutva and Umbrella of RSS is nolonger a Magic Trick for BJP. Even the Stars in BJP have lost the glitter. The chintan in simla did more damage and evolved in to a big big issius of Chinta, in this elections 2009 Assemly in three Important states in Maharastra, Arunachal and Haryana, where Congress swept and raised its flag with pride and showing BJP the hand signallying we are way ahead friends, to BJP.

Congress sticking to its secular plank, and performance as major support.

Due to lack of policies which could connect the people and masses with it BJP and its Allies have major setback.

BJP and its well wishers in the recent show down and indiscipline among senior leaders like Rajnath, Arun Jaittly, Jaswant, Yashwant, Advani.

Advani raised the issues like Ram Temple in these elections, it appears people like to hear defiantly from Advani on issues of common interests and better conditions of life and peace and prosperity of the people of the Naiton.

The whole brigade of RSS could not help them maintain discipline and induce confidence in the Voters to shift from Congress and its allies.

India is right of performance and unity of the people of the nation and not the divide of faiths which build disadvantage to the nation and its people.

In times like this when world is going thru several ifs and buts, and India faced with drought and floods and very new challenges and concerns.

Congress with its revived confidence and signal to perform and work of building the nation with greater determination and zeal should push hard on the issues which will benefit one all.

Sonia, Rahul, Manmohan triangle seems to be working consistently. Hope this will continue in the 2014 General Elections too to which Rahul is Eyes.

The people of the three states rejected the BJP and its Allies who in this elections too did not learn the lessons they should have.

The loss is un asseseble, They went thru moments of grief and uncertainty fighting between life and death from more than two days, when there villages and cities were fully submerged in flood waters of rivers and rains.

We all need to pray and support them with our feelings, comfort, and care, and support with things and means they all need and try to give them a smile on this tough times as the world celebrates  Deepavali.

The Nature has been very harsh of us with Earth Quakes, Tornados, And Tusanmai’s and Floods, and Indisciminate Rail Fall, Landslides, Tornados. There is always a message for us that we are at at the merci of Nature and helpless to its, fury. But the recent fury of Nature across continents has left us with numbness of total inability to tackle to the Fury of Nature. Our, technological, advancement and intellect is mismatch to Natures fury and impact.
The Havoc Week of 2009
At the beginning of the Manson season in India in the month of June 2009 there were meteorological predictions that India will have more than normal rain fall and the Country will have good rains for its Agriculture and Lakes. What India saw was a total failure of Manson with few pockets getting damaging rains.

Months Passed with not enough rain till some rain in the month of September for the fields to soak and cultivation to begin. The Month of Sept went gazing the skies for rain to further bless the thirsty fields in Andhra Pradesh. With little respite, giving hope for break even and some second crops to come.

Then Came the Rain followed by Flood in Oct. The Worst in 1000 years.
After a severe drought, what led to the massive scale of floods in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh? Blame it on the rain, you could say. Irrigation officials say these are possibly the worst floods in this area in 10,000 years. But what caused this disaster? Could it have been better managed? With 18 lakhs homeless in AP and 17.5 lakhs homeless in Karnataka, Dozens of Districts Fully Effected, and Hundreds of Villages drowned.
Kurnool Under Floods. Lakhs homeless and thousands missing.

Kurnool Under Floods. Lakhs homeless and thousands missing.

There are no words to express the grief and the agony the people of Andhra and Karnataka, facing. The Dist of Kurnool and Mahbobnagar are struggleing to come back to normal the Costal Andhra is in Fear of Floods with the Prakashm Barrage dangerously raising in levels.
Millions Home Less and Millions Feared. Funds for Relief to the Effected.

The Story of Floor Fury does not end for the Millions Home less with the Rain and its Fury. The Possible spread of Health Hazards, and Getting back to normal life. In the wake of the floods and the brunt of Nature the Calamity demanded relief to the victims, in the from of rehabilitation of homes, provisions for food, temporary shelter, clothing, medicines, transpiration and cash in hand. The Govt both Karnataka and Andhra demanded 10000 crs, and 12025 crs respectively from the centre. State of Andhra already got a release of 324 cr. In relief.

The Distribution, and Distrbution of the Relief, to the Effected.
The Mechanism for rightful utilization of the relief money and who is going to monitor, is the govt and its agencies enough to do this or local ngo’s and local religious bodies should be made part of the assessment team and the legitimate and checkable disperse of the relief money to the effected.

My Appeal to the State Govts and the Centre

Hundreds of Crores sanctioned for Releif Work. Who will check it reaches the effected, and ensures right accountable use. ? Who will check the Govt. Agencies. and Political Bodies.

Hundreds of Crores sanctioned for Releif Work. Who will check it reaches the effected, and ensures right accountable use. ? Who will check the Govt. Agencies. and Political Bodies.

a) For Effective utilization of Relief Funds in both the State.

 1. The Centre should condition for a on live web enabled account system for the money given in the relief to the state.

 2. Minute by minute allotment and disbursement of relief made available of the effected in the district and mandal and viallge.

3. A on line information, and availability of relief and support to the effected.

4.All disbersment to be released thru bank counters, no cash handling to be permitted.

5..The Banks should be ordered to open makeshif counters in relief camps immediately.

6. NGO, Local Muliti Religious Body, and the Mandal Officials be by phisically signing as witness to the relief, provided and rehabiliations. In the presence of Sarpanch and the Members of Mandal.

The Govt is doing its best, the People, the NGO’s, Corporates have come for the help of millions
in this hour of need, for the effected. Importatnt is how effectively we disburse the Relief and make it effective.

 B. Relocate the Villages Washed off on New Elevated Locations.

Hundreds of Seriously Effected Villages to be Relocated in new S.nos. and New Villages Declared Relocated on Higher Levels.

C.Allot Replacement Lands to the Land Owerners. in New Locations

Allotment of Land as Replacement Land in Addition to the land they hold in the Vilalge they lived earlier.

D Upgrade the Meteriological Depts and the Techniques, and Make it effective to safe lifes.

The Question Mark is Why our Meteriological Dept is not Able to Preidict the Intensity of Fall of Rain at least 72 hours before. Are we
still Not Equipped to do Prieidct.

Muslims Celebrate Eid ul Fitr, with Traditional Glory, Around the World. India will Celebrate on Monday.

September 20, 2009 Leave a comment

Muslims around the world woke up Sunday and welcomed the end of a long month of fasting with hearty greetings of “Eid Mubarak,” or happy festivities.

Egyptian women perform the Eid al-Fitr dawn prayer at a stadium in Mansura, 120 km north of Cairo.

Egyptian women perform the Eid al-Fitr dawn prayer at a stadium in Mansura, 120 km north of Cairo.

The faithful were ushering in Eid al-Fitr — three days of celebrations that Muslims mark with joyous community prayers, acts of charity, visits from far-flung relatives, gift-giving and elaborate feasts.

“Think Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year’s — all rolled into one. It’s that huge for us,” said Sajjad Aziz of Hoboken, New Jersey.

Islam follows a lunar calendar, and the timing of Eid al-Fitr varies around the world depending on when the crescent of a new moon is sighted.

So, while most countries — including the United States — observed Eid on Sunday, some will begin their celebrations on Monday.

The night before Eid, entire communities gather on rooftops, scanning the sky with giddy anticipation.

“It only needs one sighting of the moon in the whole country, and the whole nation erupts in cheers,” said Qazi Arif, 35, of Sirajgong, Bangladesh. “It’s a divine feeling, hard to describe.”

Eid al-Fitr bids goodbye to Ramadan — a month of dawn-to-dusk abstinence from food, drinks and other sensual pleasures. Muslims believe the Quran, the religion’s holy book, was revealed to Prophet Muhammad during Ramadan more than 1,400 years ago.

The Eid is one of two major holidays in Islam, alongside another called Eid al-Adha. The latter commemorates the prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Isaac, for God.

On the morning of Eid, Muslims don new clothes and head to prayers that are often held in open fields to accommodate crowds too big to contain in mosques.

Those who can afford it donate a small percentage of their possession or its equivalent to the poor and needy so they too can avail themselves for the celebrations. Feasts await at every house.

“It’s a festival principally about community. We’re even asked to take a different route when we walk back from prayers so that we can meet different sets of people to greet and celebrate with,” said Wasim Iqbal of Karachi, Pakistan.

For Muslims in North America — and countries where they are the minority — Eid is a more subdued affair.

“If you have family close by, then you can kind of capture the mood that you remember from back home,” said Abdallah Gamal, a native of Egypt who lives in St. Louis, Missouri. “But it’s not the same.”

Because the U.S. Census does not ask about religious affiliation, it is difficult to gauge the Muslim population in the United States. The Pew Muslim American study conducted two years ago estimated it at 2.5 million, while the Council on American-Islamic Relations places it as high as 6 million.

On Saturday, both President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton offered greetings to American Muslims.

“We know there is more than unites peoples of faith than divides us,” Clinton said. “So as Ramadan draws to a close, let us hold on to that spirit of community throughout the year to achieve our common goals of peace, prosperity and stability.”

It is a message that Afghanistan’s president, Hamid Karzai, also shared during Eid prayers when he called on the Taliban to join the peace process in his war-weary country.

The day wasn’t one of universal comity, however.

In Yemen, the government and rebels accused each other Saturday of breaking a cease-fire they both asked for to commemorate Eid.

And Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei used his Eid sermon to launch another volley at the country’s arch-rival Israel and at Western powers.

“We’re not quite there, I’ll will admit,” said Mehreen Ali of Boston, Massachusetts. “But have you seen an Eid prayer? Rows and rows of Muslims all prostrating together in unison. It’s a feeling of such unity and brotherhood. You have to believe that with that spirit present, anything is possible.”

Muslims around the world woke up Sunday and welcomed the end of a long month of fasting with hearty greetings of “Eid Mubarak,” or happy festivities.

In india the Prime Minister of India in his message to the Nation and to the Muslims said.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday greeted the nation on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, saying the festival reflected the true spirit of India’s composite culture.

Eid-ul-Fitr, to be celebrated on Monday, marks the end of the period of fasting during the holy month of Ramzan. Eid is celebrated on the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal.

“The festival commemorates austerity, brotherhood and the spirit of sharing. It reflects the true spirit of our composite culture. May the festival strengthen our resolve to promote tolerance and peace and live in harmony,” prime minister said.
