February 21, 2010 5 comments

Yadiaiah who immolated himself, scummed to injuries, why could't he be saved. Who should be blamed for his un-timely death.?

A 19-year-old youth, who attempted self-immolation on the Osmania University campus here in support of a separate Telangana state, has died, police said on Sunday.

S. Yadaiah from Nagaram village in adjacent Ranga Reddy district, who had come to the university to take part in the students’ agitation for Telangana, had poured petrol over his body and set himself on fire on Saturday evening.

He was rushed to the Apollo Hospital, where he succumbed to the burns on Saturday night, police said.

The question is how to make sure that no one commits suicide, and immolates?

This is a very disturbing and painful incident, when Yadiaiah was on fire; he was surrounded by tens of police personnel’s, and media and common public. Read more…

February 16, 2010 1 comment

THE Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt is organising the 75th Avatar Mahotsav of His Holiness Shankaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati in every state of India He was speaking In Guntur.

Guntur (AP), Feb 15 (PTI) Opposition to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh came out from a spiritual head today with Kanchi Sankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati saying the division would be “disastrous” as it would give Maoists a free run.

“If Andhra Pradesh is split it would be disastrous. Maoists will become stronger,” the pontiff told reporters here. “There is no need to bifurcate the state where all people speak Telugu.”

His remarks come in the wake of ongoing agitation for separate Telangana state. The Sankaracharya pleaded for unity of the country and deplored linguistic chauvinism. The religious leader is here on a three-day visit.

There are no reactions from the JAC or any Political Leaders of Telangana and who are demanding separate State of Telangana. The regious leader speaking openly in favour of united Andhra is significant.

We have to wait and see how the People in the Telangana will react to this statement of Achariaya.

A P Govt. wants, Deccan Chargers, to pull out of IPL3. Lalit Modi in a Fix.

Winners of IPL 2 . May opt out of IPL3 in protest.

Is it, Advantage Maratha, and  disadvantage Telugu ?  IPL3  game of sports or game of politics.

Sharad Pawar  in interest of Maharashtra, his party NCP an alley in Maharashtra Govt, finds proper to see the Sena Chief Bal Thakrey to plead peace for IPL matches, under a threat from Sena in protest against the inclusion of Australian Players, even after the racial attacks in Australia, on many Indians.

Sharad Pawar found it  proper, to reach out to Sena, he did not have faith in his own govt.  To maintain security to the IPL matches in Maharashtra, why did Pawar sideline the govt. in Maharashtra ?  Led by  Congress under  CM Ashok Chauhan.

On the other hand IPL  Lalit Modi  unilaterally withdrawn,  IPL matches from Hyderabad on the issue of security and normal play of matches, fearing Telangana Movement as threat to its Matches in Hyderabad. Though the Govt of AP has assured security and normal play, even the JAC promissed normal play.

This clearly means Sena, is closer to IPL; Sharad Pawar found it  proper to visit Sena Chief for IPL. But he did not attempt to set things right in AP in favor of IPL, to support IPL Home team of Hyderabad Deccan Chargers and cricket lovers of AP.  Why? was it love for Maharashtra which stopped BCCI Chief ? And allowed bais to grow towards AP Cricket Lovers. And allowed the whole issue to go out of  proportions. Read more…

Growing strength of Indian Muslims. They will carve their way ahead, & they can’t be ignored any more.

February 2, 2010 4 comments

Muslim of Today, is Wiser and Stronger, and Will strengthen the Constitution and the Ethos of India, He should not be taken lightly.

The Muslims of Andhra Pradesh were forced in to a merger against their wishes in the year 1956, on the national drive of the leader of Congress Party and the Prime Minister Shri Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, to allow reorganization of state on the basis of language. The Nizam’s state, post independence was one of the rich and  the one of the best, princely states of India.

Hyderabad State, had people of four regions with different ethnic and religious backgrounds  living happily and prospering  under the Umbrella of the Nizam,  from Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Nizam.  That was a golden era with public services, health, infrastructure, opportunity, development, communication, educational, and cultural development in the region un parallel and the Indian people, and the people of AP are proud.

The Nizam was the richest person in the world, he was blessed with great administrative, and organizational skills. He allowed multi religious,  multi lingual, multi regional family of Nizam estate to flourish, the Monuments and the infrastructural  masterpieces, reservoirs, and gardens and public building speak the tale in golden voice even today.                Read more…

January 30, 2010 1 comment

Several Bandhs, and agitation days take its first casualty "exams postponed" Education suffered.

What was feared has happened, the Student and the Education in the state has witnessed first blow on them, in the form of postponing of intermediate exams in the state.

Several bandhs, and agitation for separte state, and united Andhra, is given its first sacrifice, or has suffered first embrasment. ? The answer to this question should come from the political parties and the student organisations.

Vanishing dream, of a Golden AP, as was seen by its people, under YSR. Whom to blame ?

January 9, 2010 4 comments

The HM has asked the Chief Minsiter to speed up the probe on the Helicopter Crash in which the most loved and tall leader of Congress and CM lost his life to be speeded up. The intentions and the motive of the channle which gave a irresponsible and malacious false, cooked up, news involving Ambanis should be probed, and a finding on who is intending to damgae the interests of the state to be found.

Has baseless, malicious comments by a TV Channel alleged involvement of Ambani’s, added as a catalyst to the frustrated political activist who did not get any result from Jan 5th All Party meeting with the Home Minister P Chidambaram.

Issues need to be addressed with fair intentions and clear talk, with great amount of transparency. Delaying and keeping the matter in to a cold freezer is not an option which a bold, result oriented society would expect from the governing body of the time.

The nation has bigger challenges ahead of it. The state of Andhra Pradesh has seen great positive growth in past decade both the period the TDP got lead by Chandrababu Naidu and Congress govt.  Lead by the leader of the masses and the needy Y S Rajsherker Reddy, who unfortunately could not get the lease of life from the master of our life’s God Almighty. He lived his life king size and served the people of Andhra Pradesh in best of his capabilities, in the time he got to serve them.

The state became an attractive destination of hundreds of multinational companies and business houses of the our nation, both in the times of TDP and YSR lead Congress, the beauty of YSR was he did not reject the policies of the earlier govt of Chandrababu instead he took it as challenge in positive sense to excel and do better than Chandrababu Naidu.

The advantage in the approach of  YSR was he was doing good and achieving  goals set  both rural and urban AP,  taking along the infrastructure, agricultural, power, welfare, health, administrative, poor, corporate, and the minorities hand in hand it was a magical term he lead.

Which won him and congress the 2009 general elections, and soon the dreadful thing happened to the state of AP, the loss of YSR in an Accident in Nalamala Hills of a fateful rainy day, that had come after a severe drought and harsh summer where in prayers was the order of the day for rains, as the cattle was starving for water and rivers were soaked with no drop of water.

Since the day he is gone nothing went well with AP, there were protests and dissidents in the congress party over the demand of a group in the congress supporting son of YSR, Jangan Mohan Reddy as the CM, state saw violence, burning of placards of Sonia Gandhi, in spite of appeals to calm down from Jagan the unrest, and non co-operation of Ministers and the party leaders with the new Chief Minister continued.

In the midst of all this state was stuck with drought in many Districts, due to late monsoon, the nature’s fury struck it again in the form of Floods in Parts of Rayalseems, effecting most Kurnool, Alampur, Mahboobnagar, Vijyawada, and few other districts of coastal Andhra the rain was worst since 100 years, killing hundreds, and displaced lakhs, with cities like Kurnool submerged, and hundreds of villages drowned.

Before even the sludge and clean up of the damage could be dried and life coming back to normal for the flood effected victims in laths in AP, and still the not very efficient relief work in its advance stages, an issue with people some thought is settled, stuck hard in the form of Telangana agitation, by KCR, and his party TRS, KCR, started his hunger strike demanding separate Telangana, in the last week of Nov. 2009.

The agitation got the momentum from the student organizations joining him in his protest and demand for a separate state of Telangana, a demand by the region for over 40 years now, with no respite, some blame the unequal and biased treatment by the rich Costal Andhra bearcats and officials who took the opportunity away from the local residents in the Telanaga dist.

Both regions Telangana and Rayaleema are behind in the representation in govt department on higher positions, and progress on development works and projects when compared to the coastal Andhra region, which once was part of Madras, sarkar districts, before it joined with Telangana to form a great Telugu State, in 1956.

Otherwise  very calm people in the region got restless and violent  agitative mob on the news of  falling health due to hunger strike by KCR, took to  violence and disturbed the normal life in the city of Hyderabad which otherwise a peaceful and vibrant home for many people from all over the country.

On the eve of 9th Dec 2010 late night a statement on taking forward the formation of Telangana was made by  Home Minster which gave the Telangana People the most expected happiness and joy, on the other hand it triggered agitation in Andhra and Rayalseeema demanding United Andhra, with violent protests and all sorts of scenes by people like Lagapati Rajbgoapal.  Then the H M again in the wake of out bust and burning of AP with sentiments reversed his 9th Dec decision, and called for a wide-ranging consensus on the matter of Tealngana.

The tempers reached to greater ripples, and violence, and bands, and agitations, disturbing the education, business, and normal life in the state.  Then came the announcement of the 5 Jan meeting of all parties to discuss on the issue which also resulted in anticlimax not satisfy both the pro and anti Telangana groups in all the political parties which by now are broken houses with leaders not knowing where they stand as already most of the legislative and parliament members resigned and their resignation pending on the desk of the speaker in AP. AP as become a no party no leader state by this time.  The command and tact of the UPA govt is in command miraculously.

After all trouble AP has gone thru, an irresponsible and a malicious, news of Ambani’s involvement in conspiring to kill YSR by Telugu Channel on 7th of Jan, which erupted huge reaction by the followers of YSR and hurt the sentiments of the people of AP once again, this is horrific and most damaging and hurting to the people of AP.

This will hurt further the state business community, and hinder the process of consensus and formation a committee to reach to a peaceful solution to the issue of Telangana.   Running by a Telugu Channel is acting a last dump to dump the pride, respect, opportunity, and positive energy the state enjoyed just few month back when YSR, was in command. And people of AP where happy and enjoying the fruits of governance by the Congress govt lead by YSR, under the guidance of his leader and mentor Sonia Gandhi and able PM Manmohan Singh.

God help AP, Telangana, Andhra, and Rayalseema, and relief the state from further damage, and let the wisdom prevail, in all of us, to sort out our problems, with reasoning and respectfully with grace Amin.

All Party meet ends, parties “sing all is not well”. MIM Demands Presidents rule in AP.

January 5, 2010 Leave a comment

Asaduddin Owaisi MP, and his party MIM, maintains the non comital stand, on Telangana.

As expected the exercise ended with no improvement on the present state of affairs in the state of AP. In fact all parties in a joint statement after the meeting have appealed to the people of the state to maintain law and order and peace and allow the democratic means to take the centre stage.

But individually the parties look as before with no greater improvement in their stand, in favour or against the state of Telangana.

The Home Minister took the brief of the discussion he had with the political parties to the PM for appraising what had been discussed in the meeting.  A statement may come to this effect,  by the late evening.

The expectation is PC or PM may,  request again to all the parties who attended and the people of the state to have restrain and maintain peace and normalcy in all the regions of the state.

Meanwhile they may request the political parties to work for consensus, and hopefully govt may accept the demand by some  parties like, PRP and MIM, who wanted govt to form of a committee to discuss the issue for reaching to a broader consensus.

The MIM has kept its cards close to its chest. The Member of Parliament and Leader of MIM Assaduddin Owaisi remained uncommitted on the issue of Telangana.  He has neither supported its formation nor denied it.

Earlier in the day the media reported MIM as  a party which may oppose formation of the separate state out of  AP. But that did not happen.

Speaking to the Media after the meeting the MP said that ” The Muslims are a party to the Issue”  without elaborating he said ” His party requested the govt in the view of the growing violence, failure to maintain law and order, economic crisis… the state should be put on President’s rule for bringing  back the normalcy in the state.

Assaduddin Owaisi also requested the govt.  on behalf of the party, for formation of committee if possible headed by a Supreme Court Judge and with bureaucrats, representation of all the parties to find a solution to  the issue. In the event of such committees formation the MIM will give its opinion on the issue then. In absence of such committee,  he said  MIM party will give their stand of the issue to the Home Minister.

This stand taken by the MIM is seen as political statement, with no clarity by some, and some appreciate it as a wise statement in  seeing the type of confusion prevailing in the state.

All the major parties to the dispute TRS, BJP, CPi, CON, TDP and PRP have maintained their earlier stand for and against  Telangana, the mood is dampened.  How the things will unfold after the final statement of the result of this meeting after consultation with PM by the HM will have to see.

Has the state pulled in to further uncertainty, with no respite to the students, business small and big, officials, general public, of the state.

This has become like,  IPL series,  only a few matches are played till now, their seems to be long way to go before the quarters, semis, and the finals are played.

what will be the time frame  for this series,  even the managers of the game do  not know.

How can we expect the teams to comment on. Like always the spectators are at loss,  this has become like Kotla Pitch the match is called off in the mid,  with the the people of  Andhra Pradesh on the recieving end.

Telangana or United Andhra, Rivals meet to reach to a consences.

January 5, 2010 1 comment

can history be witness to a role to hlep peace and value for aspirations of all concerned by thi this city of mosques, and cultural richness

The meeting will see the participation of Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), CPM, CPI, BJP and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM).

The Battle lines are drawn, the political partiies are divided, Congress and TDP, struggleing to keep their house intact. Congress and TDP though in favour of formation of Telangana state are in a cautious act,  over Telangana. TRS, CPI and BJP expect Congress and TDP will not further delay in honouring the comitments and stands taken in them over formation of Telangana.

As the day progreses more clarity will be seen, back home in Andhra, Rayaleema, and Telangana the people are tence and are not very optimistic a quick soution or a clear line of action towards the formation of Tealngana will come out of this all party meeting. Is this going to the like all other excercieses to buy time and gradully take the issue in to leagal and political hinderances is to be seen.

There is a new angle emerging to the issue, with experts arguing, that the formation of Andhara Pradesh was formed on the basis of Language in 1956 can it be undone now, may be this would require a special reference by the President of  India, and legal consultation too.

Let us wait for the evening, like all in AP are,  my prayer would be what ever the out come the peace and botherhood in the region shold not be hurt.  Let us hope for the best.

Chidambaram likes the state to stop bandhs, he likes to promote the good sense and allow the door of talks, and discussions to be upheld and in democratic system the parliamentary democracy political parties are the reflection of the aspirations of the people.

The door of talks  should be the medium for resolution of any confilict. and saying no to voilence. The flared up sentiments, in all regions looks like will have to tone down and give the democratic and parliamentary porceudres to take the centre stage rather than voilence.

Will AP sing Bhaiya “ALL IS WELL” after all party meet on Telangana on 5th Jan 2010.

Is there a message for the People of Telangana between the lines voiced by Home Minister on Thursday 31st Dec on the Eve of New Year.

We have to take the note and clarity with which the Home Minister has spoken on the of the New year Celebrations on the Topic of Telangana. There is no pinch of doubt on the intention of the govts. determination to carve a state of Telananga, the govt. like to hold all its statement that where aired in favor of formation of new State.

Asserting that the government had done “no flip-flop” over separate statehood to

He said the Major political parties in Andhra Pradesh, he said, contested the 2009 Assembly elections on manifestos that “in one manner or other declared support for the formation of a separate state of Telangana”

He also said, “UPA government in its common minimum programme had said that a separate state of Tealangana would be carved from State of Andhra Pradesh” at an appropriate time after due consultations and consensus.

“On December 9, it was announced that an appropriate resolution would be moved in the state assembly. I would like to highlight key words in the statement, they are ‘process’, ‘appropriate resolution’ and ‘moved’. In the background of the minutes of the all party meeting, I would like to ask what was wrong with that statement,” he queried. And on December 23, after MPs and legislators from the state appeared divided over the issue, the government stressed the need to hold consultations with all political parties on the issue following a fortnight of protests in Andhra Pradesh for and against the separate state.

“We simply responded to the wishes of the people of Andhra Pradesh. I hope you don’t call the January 5 meeting a flip-flop,” Chidambaram added.

“The January 5 meeting is the first step in consultations. We have called the recognized parties in the state to devise a mechanism and lay a roadmap on the issue,” he said.

Chidambaram also pointed out that other student groups and interested parties would also be consulted at a later stage.

One thing is coming out clear from all this clarification is to send a message again that Telangana is a possibility which will have to come thru consensus. Even now it is not clear when it will happen, but it is, clear that sooner or later it will happen.

Our wish would be consensus and with no feelings hurt after all AP and its people shared the same space for over 50 years now. let us hope for the good of the people of the region and the business and the lost optimism returns and let it be said. All is well.

The sowards are pulled in AP , both by pro and aganinst Telangana groups, in all the three regions of AP, Teleangana, Rayalseema and the very effulient region Andhra on the coasts of AP, with the coasts touching it, both Rayalseema and Telangana are land locked.

The activities in Delhi are hot to get charged for a very charged and cruicial meeting, both the camps in pro and anti claim it will be sucess to them.

22nd Dec. a Big Day , PM to give statement on Telangana, All parties keep fingures crossed.

December 22, 2009 1 comment

Can his statement satisfy all regions of AP, Telangana, Andhra, and Rayalseema today. It is tough, AP keeps figures crossed much depends on his statement, which direction AP will take.

Today is a very crucial test of ability and skills of political wisdom for Prime Minster Dr Manmohan Singh.

As after a month long agitation on pro and anti Telangana by Various Political Parties, members of parliament and assemble protesting and many MLA’s resigning in protest to the statement made by the Home Minister P Chidambaram on 9th of Dec night, on the eve of a protest rally by the Telangana protestors on 10 in Hyderabad the state capital of Andhra Pradesh.

The statement diffused the agitation for separate Telengana and prompted the Leader of Separate Telangana Movement K C Rao of TRS breaking his 11 days old hunger strike in NIMS hospital in Hyderabad, statement on Home Minister change the mood from agitation to celebration and distribution of sweets and night lit by crackers and profuse celebration in the districts of Telangana, The people of Telangana appreciated the gesture of the Sonia Gandhi and the Congress Party and looked forward to it formation at the earliest.

But the celebration did not last long as the day progressed on 10th of Dec several MLS’s across party line resigned in protest to the statement given by Chidambaram the Home Minister demanding unified Andhra to remain.

The chorus on this demand was supported by the Congress party MP’s and MLA’s too, they where to most active in protest, going totally against the dictates of the party high command the Congress leaders on the State from Rayalseema, and Costal Andhra. The agitative mood and aggressive expression over night shifted from Telangana shifted to otherwise peaceful and disciplined regions of Costal Andhra and Rayalseema. The agitators burned and damaged public property and disturbed normal life in cities like many cities and districts of Andhra and Rayalseema regions of A P.

The reaction from political parties which heralded the cause of formation of Telangana in 2009 Elections TDP and PRP not able to control the situation by resignations of many of the Andhra and Raylseema MLS’s back tracked on the issue of Telangana under the changed circumstances, diluting there political stand on separate state of Telangana, This is Politics we can expect the unexpected by our political leaders even the likes of Chnadrababu and Chiranjeevi could spare themselves.

With several Hunger strikes by business interests giants like Rajgopal MP from Congress, and brother of YSR joining the voice to keep the state united, with many others in various districts protesting the complication and uncertainty increased in the state. The Central leadership of congress kept its vigil and the state CM Roshiah kept and tried to keep the conditions under control with mix of success and failure. Add to the fire to the fury the many hero of Andhra agitation to keep AP united in his 8th day of hunger strike broke the police bandobast and sneaked out of the govt hospital in Vijaywada on 10th 10 15 pm only to be surfaced in dramatic manner in NIMS hospital, on 21st Dec this embarrassed the state govt and the police dept.

As this was not enough Rajgopal ( Lagapati) MP’s who is protesting against formation of Telangana added like a catalyst to the separate Telangana agitator who where silent and were in mood of celebration and waiting for the govt to being the process of the resolution and the formation of the state of Telangana, became violent and protested at the NIMS against the stand taken by Lagapati Rajgopal MP the leader of united Andhra Agitation.

The situation has become worst and the tempers on both sides have grown. Andhra Pradesh a otherwise a peaceful and state which produce thousands of engineers, and IT professional keep its young section of the population busy with intense involvement in studies is harming its main asset base knowledge and educational discipline.

What ever is to be done the key would be it has to done quickly and make things clear and allow the minds to rest and settle. All representatives of the parties involved to the conflict, Telangana, Costal Andhra, Rayalseema and the Central Govt and the State Govt should enter in to a close door dialogue for several session and reach to common terms and amicably solve this issue to the benefit of all parties concern.

The tempers are high and damage is huge this will percolate further and could harm in a way it could be a point of no return.

Dr. Singh Please do your best and let the state and its people agree to your advice and decision as PM of the Nation and a person who cares for the aspirations of lakhs of people of AP and its regions.
