AP High Court Order against 4% Reservations for Backward Muslims. Govt embarassed, will appeal in SC.

February 9, 2010 1 comment

Muslim Lady Voted in to Power Congress on the popular measure of 4% Reservation, The State Govt. is blamed for not presenting its defence to the panel, with determination. Muslims, missing Late Rajsheker Redfdy's type of comiment towards them.

Feb. 8:   Muslims of Andhra Pradesh, and the govt of AP suffered a setback,  Lakhs of Muslim Boys and and Girls, hope to find their place in field of education and jobs spent sleepless night, with their future plans and hopes in balance in Courts.

As  AP High Court in a majority decision on Monday struck down as unsustainable the legislation providing four per cent reservation in educational institutions and government jobs to backward groups among Muslims.

A seven-member bench headed by Chief Justice Anil R. Dave was divided 5-2 and provided three different decisions while striking down the legislation. Justice Dave while pronouncing the verdict on his behalf and on behalf of Justice A. Gopal Reddy, Justice V. Eswaraiah and Justice G. Raghuram opined that the legislation failed to define the expressions “Muslim” and “other Muslim groups.”

The Act violated Articles 14, 15(1) and 16 (2) of the Constitution. The court faulted the surveys relied upon by the BC Commission to enumerate Muslim backwardness. The commission’s own survey was “not sufficient,” it said.

The court struck down the AP Reservations in Favor of Socially and Education-ally Backward Classes of Muslims Act, 2007 and the Government Orders Ms 23 and 231 to provide reservation for Muslim.

Lakhs of Muslim boys and girls, in preparation for approaching intermediate, and emcet exams.  The reservation for the backward and the disadvantaged in the Muslim community gave the needed start to the trend in the Muslims to go for proper education, and gradually but surely raise the bar of percentage of literacy in Muslim backward community.

The admission so far made under this reservation policy of 4% since 2007 will not be effected. But the future admissions or admission hereafter may get blocked.  The govt of AP acted apparently swiftly to go for appeal against the order of High Court in Supreme Court, immediately.

The Muslim organizations, like MEC Minorities Empowerment Council, demand restoration of the reservation policy, in consultation with legal experts, and represent, appeal without any delay to the Supreme Court, with determination and zeal.  Read more…

Govt. Comissions to assess condtions of Minorities is fine, but will it implement, their recommendations with same sprit ?

December 23, 2009 Leave a comment

The Commission noted that the minorities especially the Muslims are very much under-represented and sometimes wholly unrepresented in government jobs.

Many commissions are formed with sincere desire by the govt. to help the minorities and give them their rightful place in the society.  Many surveys and  commissions proved time and again that the minorities on India are left out and are a backward, in many areas of education, economic, social life. since the independence the condition of muslim minorities in particular has not shown signs of growth as it should have.  The minorities are supressed and disadvantaged due to their economic, educational and social backwardness which is growing as the years and decades pass by.

Why the Minorites are backward

Their backwardness has given way to very odd and unhealthy colors to some of them, as we know economic and education backwardness make an individual weak, he becomes the weak link and these elements due to personnel insecurity become tool in the hands of opportunists and evil masters of the anti-social colors.

There is factor  contributing to this backward trend in minorities first and foremost the lack of inclination in the minority community to educate themselves, the other factor the environment, support and counselling by the organizations to motivate them and educate them about the various governmental schemes available for them to give them the necessary support, one other factor is the leadership in the Minorities is not focussed on doing their bit to support them with organised effort and guidance and support.

UPA sincere in Intentions.

However not all is dark as we like to present, the truth is the nation India is a the biggest democracy of the world with a billion population. The challenges faced by the country are big and diverse with voices, for and pro to all schools of thoughts and the diversity is bond to be influenced most of the times by the majority voice in the system we live in.

The govt of Dr. Manmohan Singh  for the benefit of the minorities formed commissions and committees to study and report and recommend suggestions to the govt. for takeing concrete measures in order to uplift the Minorities of India, commissions such as the Schachar committee, and Ranganath Mishra Commission. The findings of both are now public and recently on the 9th of Dec the Ranganth Mishra Commission findings and with its suggestions is placed in the parliament for the process to start and take action on its recommendations.

Justice Ranganth Commission Recommendations

The report of the National Commission for Religious and Linguistic Minorities headed by former Chief Justice of India Rangnath Mishra, is considered a step ahead of Sachchar Committee report that went into the backwardness of minorities mainly Muslims.

The Commission, was notified in October 2004 and began functioning in 2005. Two years later, it submitted its report to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in May 2007

With regard to quota, the Commission says that 10% should be reserved for Muslims and  5 % for other minorities in central and state government jobs in all cadre and grades.

It added that in case of non-availability of Muslims to fill the 10% earmarked seats, these may be made available to other minorities but in “no case” shall any seat within the recommended 15% shall be given to anybody from the majority community.

OBC   “non-exclusion of ineligible” castes has hurt genuine backward groups.

The failure to exclude castes from the OBC list has led to a sharp increase in number of OBCs — provocation for Mishra panel to slam “political considerations” and “vested interests in remaining backward” for distortion of the system.

The purging of OBC list is a sensitive issue which saw the government plump for status quo when Mandal Commission completed 10 years in 2003 and the first exclusion exercise was to be taken up. Citing inclusion of Jats and Vokkaligas in OBC list as examples of “political compulsions”, the report said “non-exclusion of ineligible” castes has hurt genuine backward groups.

If the report’s comments threaten to touch a faultline in backward politics, its recommendation for 8% subquota for minorities within 27% OBC quota is a testing proposition too. The panel has suggested the measure for increasing representation of minorities in government jobs.

Dissent on the recommendations by Asha Das

Member Secretary of the Commission Asha Das has, however, given a note of dissent on the Commission’s recommendation for conferment of SC status on Dalit converts to Christianity and Islam saying there was “no justification” for it.

Besides, she has said that as Dalit converts to Christianity/Islam do not qualify for inclusion as SCs, they should continue to form part of OBCs and avail facilities and reservations given to the OBCs until a comprehensive list of Socially and Educationally Backward (SEB) is prepared.

The Commission has, however, rejected the contentions made by Das in the dissent note and said “(we) firmly stand by every word of the recommendations, we have made under this term of reference.”

Alternative Route Sujested by the Commission for satisfying the 15 % reservation for the Minorites.

The Commission also suggested an alternative route for reservation to minorities if there is “insurmountable difficulty” in implementing the recommendation for 15 reservation.

In this regard it said since minorities constitute 8.4 percent of the total OBC population according to the Mandal Commission report so in the 27 percent OBC quota, an 8.4 percent sub quota should be earmarked for minorities.

The internal break-up should be 6 percent for the Muslims, commensurate with their 73 percent share in the total minority population at the national level and 2.4 percent for other minorities.

Besides it has recommended that the reservation now extended to the Scheduled Tribes, which is a religion neutral class, should be carefully examined to assess the extent of minority presence in it and take remedial measures.

The Commission noted that the minorities especially the Muslims are very much under-represented and sometimes wholly unrepresented in government jobs.

Some are of the opinion that the reservations is not going to help the Muslims and the Minorities.

This can not be true in India one should understand that India since its formation was forced to protect and support its backward and supressed classes of populations,  the scheduled caste, backward caste, on the basis of caste, social placement, linguistic, and economic backwardness. It is to be understood that the SC Sheduled castes are mainly the caste originating from the Majority Hindu community and it is found that the SC category Hindu when converts to other religious belief is deleted from the SC category and he will not be treated as a SC he will have to be considered in the religious minority.

Among a host of recommendations, the Commission recommends delinking of Scheduled Caste status from religion and abrogation of the 1950 Scheduled Caste Order which “still excludes Muslims, Christians, Jains and Parsis from the SC net.”

The Order originally restricted the SC status to Hindus only but was later opened it to Buddhists and Sikhs.

In such as set up when every class and section of the population is given reservation it becomes more important that muslims should be given reservation to make up for the gap both socially and economically between them and the rest of the Indians.  If it is not done the effect will be multiple and the gap will be widened and will come to a level of apathy

National Effort to be made to influence and help the govt. to implement the recommendations at the earliest.

The Minorities across  political party line, regional and cultural divides should influence  and help the govt. with all available means to implement the recommendations of both the Ranganth Commission and the Sachar committee recommendations in true spirit.

This should be  single point focussed agenda of all the Minorities of India.

Rahul Gandhi, Leader with a difference, Speaks to Students of Aligarh Muslim University,

Rahul GandhiRahul Gandhi interacts with the students of Aligarh Muslim University, during his two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh starting December 8. "Rahul, who is invited by vice-chancellor PK Abdul Azis, addressed students at Kennedy hall of the university on December 8," Rahul Answered to a student asking weather a Muslim can be PM of India he answered Yes he can provided......

The common perception among the Muslims was a Muslim will not be made the PM in India of which he is the citizen.

This perception was a danger syndrome for the young generation, and specially the children who is told that all Indian are brothers and sisters, our constitution gives all its citizens equal rights and equal opportunities with out discrimination on the basis of religion or caste and region.

Unless the confidence is induced in our young boys and girls at the level of  primary school, the induction  of oneness concept and the ambition to excel in life will not be present.

Each Indian needs to be motivated to work hard become good valuable individuals who later become the asset and pillars of our great nations who can strengthen our democratic and constitutional values and uphold them and administer them with vigor and discipline.

By allowing the syndrome to live we were isolating,   great percentage of population from getting involved.

We need to strengthen the ethos and values set by our fore fathers who got us the independence and the liberty to breath fresh air of self-rule and opportunity for our people.

Hundreds detained with no charge in Isreal, human rights voilated.

October 14, 2009 1 comment

Media Report. from Middle East. Jeruselem.

Salwa Salah was 16 years old when she was arrested by Israeli forces and jailed for seven months.

Israeli court minutes said Salwa Salah, 16, had been involved in "planning military operations."

Israeli court minutes said Salwa Salah, 16, had been involved in “planning military operations.”

To this day she says she does not know her crime and is struggling to get her life back on track.

She was released shortly before her final school exams but was unable to catch up and now has to re-sit before she can go to university.

Salah was held under administrative detention – detention without charge or trial. It is legal under international law which permits its use only in exceptional cases to protect the security of a state.

But human rights groups say Israel abuses this right.

A report released Wednesday by human rights groups B’Tselem and HaMoked has called on Israel to release the detainees or charge them. They say there are currently 335 Palestinians being held under administrative detention, three of them women, one a minor.

When asked about Salah’s case, Israeli prosecutors gave CNN the court minutes which read, “It has been shown that the prisoner was involved in planning military operations very close to the time that she was detained.”

Salah insists she is a schoolgirl and not a terrorist but no further information was given to her lawyer. Much of the evidence in these cases remains secret.

Sahar Francis, a lawyer from Ademeer human rights association said: “It is submitted to the military judge and me as a lawyer. I don’t have access to this file so actually I can’t defend my clients properly since I don’t know what the exact suspicion against my client is.”

  •  Salah said the prison conditions were fit only for animals and she found her time inside psychologically hard. “The prisoner does not know if he or she is going to be released or not,” she said.

“So sitting in a prison confused and weary asking ‘am I going to be released?’ You are distorted by this one question.”

Israel says administrative detention is a valuable pre-emptive tool in its ongoing war on terrorism and often evidence cannot be made public. Lt. Col Maurice Hirsch, Israeli prosecutor, said: “Most of the evidence is not shown to the detainee but rather is kept a secret in order to protect the lives of the people that provide the information and the technological means by which the information is acquired.”

The al-Hidmi family has found itself on the wrong side of administrative detention for many years.

One son Islam, 20, was held for twenty one months without charge or trial.

Two months ago there was an emotional homecoming for Islam, his mother had not seen him since his arrest.

Two weeks ago, Islam was arrested again, again without charge.

Islam’s brother, Wa’ad is also in prison. Held since April 2008 from the age of 16, his administrative detention has been renewed six times. His father Arafat al-Hidmi  said  to a media group “They arrested him and said this is an administrative detention meaning his file is secret and no-one can look at it except the Israelis.”

His mother, Fawzia al-Hidmi says of her 18 year old son, “I want my son here so he can do his exams and I can be proud like everyone else who celebrated their children’s graduation.”

Both sons had previously been charged with throwing stones at Israeli troops and affiliation with Islamic Jihad

“The default should always be towards trial and punishment,” said Mark Ellis of the International Bar Association.

“These types of administrative detention can never be a substitute for punishment and trials. Based on the numbers of individuals detained, the Israeli military appears to be using it as the default and that is what makes it in my opinion illegal under international standards.”

It is estimated that there are between 2.5 million and 7 million Muslims in the United States. The exact number is difficult to determine because the U.S. government does not request religious information on census forms. Muslims in the United States are estimated to come from more than 80 countries.

Jagan Reddy, Right Choice, for CM’s Post

Jagan Reddy Right Choice, to fill the Vacuum Caused by untimely Death of Y S R.

Jagan Mohan Reddy son of YSR is the front runner to be the Chief Minister, of Andhra Pradesh and to fill the Vacuum Created in untimely tragic death of Y Samuel Rajasheker Reddy. There is name of another Leader and Stalwart Mr. Jaipal Reddy Union Minister and a very seasoned Politician and very senior Parliamentarian who has seen three generations of Politicians,  Inidra Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi,  from AP Telengana Region a close friend of Rajsheker Reddy and a loyalist of Sonia Gandhi too in run, with the metal but the people of the state will like Jagan to be the CM with the blessings of Sonia Gandhi and Congress Party.
Jagan Mohan Reddy Can Carry Forward the Legacy of YSR, and Live up to the Expectations of the People of the State of A.P and can be a loyal worker of Congress like his Father

The Members Sign a Memorandum to Pledge Support for Jagan M R. as A P – C M

With most of the MLA’S  and  MP’S signing a memorandum pleading their support to Jaganmohan Reddy,  a Media Baron, Business Man who was inducted in to active politics in dramatic manner on demand of congress workers in a rally in Rayalseem attended by lakhs of supporters few years back.

Muslims like to see Jagan as CM

Even the Muslims of the State want to show there respect and appreciation to what  Y S Rajasheker Reddy has done for them by supporting and appealing the  Congress President Sonia Gandhi to honour the services of Rajsheker Reddy to Congress Party and State of  AP by considering there request to make  Jagan Mohan Reddy the CM of Andhra Pradesh.

Muslims want to make sure that the policies and the direction Y S R had taken to uplift the economically backward Muslims, they like to see son Jaganmohan Reddy of their good friend YSR as C M of a P.

An Able Son of Able Father

Japan Reddy an able son of   YSR Rajsheker Reddy, who like his father is also a charismatic leader with mass appeal and vast following in the youths of the sate, and a much organised yuva group with majority of congress leader’s support in the Sate Assembly.

Jaganmohan, an industrialist who runs the Sakshi daily and a television channel, was elected from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency in the April-May elections.

Jagan has been taking an active interest in the politics of Kadapa for the last couple of years and he has built up a solid party cadre staunchly loyal to him in the region.

Resolution Passed by Legislators demanding Jagan as CM

Within hours of the death of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy in a helicopter crash, a section of ruling Congress party leaders here have begun demanding that his son Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy be made the next chief minister.

A resolution was passed amid reports that over 100 legislators of the ruling party are supporting the demand. The legislators also met Union Minister for law and in-charge of party affairs in the state M Veerappa Moily to submit a memorandum.

Some ministers have openly demanded that the young MP be made the next chief minister. A group of MPs also held a meeting here and decided to take up their demand before Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Agitative, Campaign Launched for Jagan.

Though peaceful, should be avoided in times like this. The party equally shares the feeling shared by the loyalist of YSR.

Jaganmohan’s loyalists among party workers have launched a campaign. Some workers sitting outside Gandhi Bhavan, the party headquarters in the city, said they would not accept anybody other than YSR’s son to head the state government.

‘When Indira Gandhi expired Rajiv Gandhi was made the prime minister. Why not Jagan be made chief minister now?’ says a SMS message being circulated by Jaganmohan’s followers.

A group of MPs also held a meeting and decided to place their demand before Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Time show Faith and Confidence in the leadership of Sonia Gandhi

This is the Area of Great Concern and which could trigger bickers in Congress like before this should be taken as a spark if not put off can trigger a fire of descent in the party, this for sure YSR did not work for. Neither Jagan would approve.

The State leaders and loyalist to YSR in the party should give time to the leadership at the Centre and allow things to settle first.  Decisions are to be taken in more sober and calm environment, bringing grace and respect to the functioning of the Congress party as a whole.

Jagan the Natural Successor of YSR

Every one in state likes to see Japan as Natural Successor of YSR, the party President Sonia Gandhi and many senior leaders in the party must be contemplating the candidature of Jaganmohan Reddy too.

Most important  for the party today is to keep the cadre, the leaders of the state with its three regions Rayalseema, Telengana, and Andhra together and emulate the example of YSR and keeping the sentiments and feelings in to mind.

Embarrassment to Congress President Sonia Gandhi

Rushing to conclusions and going to the extent of exploring the possibilities of asking for the support of parties out side congress in the event of some congressmen not agreeing for the candidature of Jagan, is sad. There are media reports that A Group of Congress men met  leader of  Opposition Party in State Praja Rajyam leader Chiranjeevi with a request for support of Candidature of Jagan Mohan Reddy for CM Post, this is very unfortunate thing that has happened. The note of which I am sure the Congress High Comand has taken and found it as a act of Indisipline. There was no such need to react with in hours of Death of Mr YSR this must have hurt the Leaders of the Party Specially Sonia Gandhi. The Interm Selection of Mr. K Roashia as CM was Must to give the State and the Party a leader with consititutional authority and Mr. Roshaiah is a leader who will abide by the Party and is a very obideint Soilder, in the event of Change in Favour of Jagan he will whole heartedly will support Jagan and work with him like he worked with his father YSR. Party Disipline is Must at this Hour.

As per the reports in electronic media by National Networks,

“Some Congress legislators also met Praja Rajyam Party President K Chiranjeevi to request him to support Jaganmohan Reddy’s candidature”.

The Congress party has 155 members in the 294-member Assembly”.

This will be worst thing to do.  Give time; let the party and the family of YSR come to terms with the shock they are put to by destiny.

YSR had faith in the Leadership Sonia Gandhi.

Let the Last Rights of YSR be performed and let him Rest with Dignity and Honour and let that Dignity and Honour remain with the Party and its Workers in the State for Every let us remember YSR was the most loyal, obedient, and General of Congress Party. He had full faith in the Leadership of the Party President Sonia Gandhi.

Jagan could only be like her son.

The party will not let him down even in his silence. YSR was like a family to Sonia and Jagan could only be like her son too.

Let us be Patient.  Let us pray for the departed soul, may his soul rest in peace.

Legacy of  YSR to be RespectedLet the YSR Histeria live – YSR was beyond just a Chief Minister he was near  Saint.

Reports of  People Dieing and Suciding as the last right are in progress in Hyderabad, not Bearing the loss should be respected – these people sadly so,  are not die not to put  disturb the Congress Party they are die because they loved the legacy and what he stood for.

Jagan is the right choice, and it will come thru, let there be discipline in the party and legacy of YSR maintained in this hour of grief and pain. Hope the right senesces prevails and the party keeps its unity intact. And respects it s leaders and mentors Sonia Gandhi and the Mentor of Rajsheker Reddy the late Rajiv Gandhi.

Jagan Mohan Reddy son of YSR is the front runner to be the Chief Minister, of Andhra Pradesh and to fill the Vacuum Created in untimely tragic death of Y Samuel Rajasheker Reddy. There are names of Mr Jaipal Reddy another able leader from AP Telengana Region who has the metal too. But the People of AP like to see Jagan as C M.

Govt on Right Side of Law.

The government move to think and introduce a bill in the parliament,  This has to stop,  discriminating on the basis of caste religion or region, will weaken the unity of our People and Nation.

This is seen in western world too, promoting racist tenderises, was common, in many parts of West,   it  has changing fast,  and thus we see in the election of Barack Hussain Obama as President of Democratic America has become a reality,  in nation plagued with racial hate and discrimination that few decades back   did not allow blacks the right to vote in US.

Hurting the Ethos and Values on which our Nation Stands.

Discrimination of all kinds is un welcome. The Society for  homogeneous We  Indians are a cultured society, looking forward to reach heights of cultural growth and wellness of our nation.

It is not the question of a celebrity or a section of the society being discriminated, it is about how our so called elite of our society and cross section of our society think and act in their personnel life, how dear is Nation and its people to them. They only do lip service and still follow the age old evil act of discrimination which Father of the Nation fought and sacrificed his life for eradicating unsociability and right and bother hood of Hindus and Muslims we are hurting the ethos and values on which our nation stands.

Reports in media on discrimination in buying house in Mumbai 14TH OF Aug 2009 IBNlive.

New Delhi: First, actor Shabana Azmi alleged discrimination in buying a house in Mumbai, then her colleague from Bollywood Emran Hashmi too allegedly faced the same problem. Not just that, the Delhi Police recently released a booklet on how people from the Northeast should conduct themselves in the city. All these cases and many more have prompted the UPA government to finalise a law to provide equal opportunity to all.

The Bill in its current form gives powers to a Commission to deal with cases related to education, employment and any other area as notified by the government.

Sources in the Minority Affairs Ministry say housing will be first to be added to this list at the time of notification and the proposed law will be applicable to both public and private sector. The Equal Opportunity Commission will have powers to recommend to the states and the Centre to hand out disincentives.

For example, a housing society guilty of discrimination could have its tax incentives or water and power connections at concessional rates withdrawn.”Housing is the most important problem. It’s because of this we are witnessing the ghetto culture in major cities,” says spokesperson of All India Muslim Personal Board, S Q R Illyas.Soon the bill is to be put before the Cabinet for approval and the Government wants it to be introduced in parliament in the coming Winter Session.

All are Eqal in the Eyes of Law.

Constitution gives us the fundamental right as Equals in the eyes of law, and when it comes to social and economic justice. We Indian belong to each inch of Indian where ever we are born in India, which ever Caste, Region, or Religion we belong. A tactical and instigative isolation or discrimination for all quarters of society should be punishable offence in the eyes of the nation and its people. This is not the first time there are bodies in Gujarat who boastfully spread hate and discrimination in housing societies against Muslims Minorities.

It may not be fully true in the case of Minorities alone; this can be the problem with Majority Community too, in Areas of the Society where the Minorities are dominant.

An act to punish such discriminators is most welcome to protect our national integration and unity and inculcate in our diverse sections UPA govt and its leaders and the Prime Minister should be supported in this matter.

India can see a Muslim, a Dalit, or a Christian its Prime Minister soon

Opening up the subject the right of equal opportunity is a very wide and right expression.  Our nation does not discriminate in its political and administrative set up when it comes to raising common men from all sections of the Indian diverse nation to the levels of President, Chief Justice, and Prime Minister and Defence Ministers we have examples, of Dr, Man Mohan Sing a Minority Sikh Community Becoming the Prime Minister and A P J Abul Kalam becoming President of Democratic India both were welcome with full respect and authority in the positions held.

Minority Prime Minister of India a Possibility.

There will be a day when a Muslim or a Dalit or a Christian will be seen to head the Post of Prime Minister of India the Constitution gives us all equal opportunity and regards our merits and right man will always be welcome to lead it is just that he needs to raise himself to the levels of competence like Dr Sing and   A P J Abdul Kalam.  Our children from Minority community of India can raise themselves to the level of leading our nation and taking it to new heights of success by becoming the Prime Minister of India. This is very health possibility of the future.

Can Rajanth Set Right, Crippled  Rath, for Advani to Ride Again?  Advani knows, Rajnath is Making a Mistake again in diagnosing the problem, Advani is silent, fearing RSS may opt Modi as new Rider for the Hindutva Rath by 2014 General Elections.

L K Advani and Rajnath Singh "Do they look Confident"

BJP Decides to be Painted Saffon for Ever.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party will not drop its Hindutva agenda at any cost,” BJP president Rajnath Singh said on Sunday in Lucknow UP,  he also added  there was no “need for making those factors public” that led to the “party’s unsatisfactory performance” in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

“We are determined to follow the Hindutva agenda. Come what may, we will not leave it. We are committed towards Hindutva. We will not compromise with Hindutava, even if we have to wait for five-10 more years to assume power,” Singh said at the BJP’s Uttar Pradesh working committee meeting.

Voices in BJP against Hindutva Burried.

The manner in which Mr. Rajnath Singh is boosting, about his parties agenda and line of action and pattern laid out for future of BJP in India,  BJP the second largest Political Party of India and Main Opposition for Congress in India as of today.

I only have to say with great dissatisfaction and concern for the good leaders in BJP who care for this Country and in recent past boldly, criticised and blamed the failure of party in recent elections on issues of Communal Divide, and lack of concern for finding solution for real issues that are of great concern to the nation.

Like, education, infrastructure, social justice, fair justice system, basic needs and requirements like quality medical facilities, clean air, clean water, and un interrupted electricity, helping the deprived and disadvantaged in the society and working inclusively for uplifting every Indian, irrespective of religion and caste and region.

None can Replace Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his Grace, for BJP.

They relied on   wrongly projected leaders like Varun Gandhi, and Naredner Modi, and the likes, who pumped the fuel of hate in to a rather not so very offensive furnace of BJP under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in past,

BJP can, face a harsh rebuttal from Hindus, in a possible last battle of Ideologies. In 2014 General Elections.

They now string and play irresponsibly with issues that are not of great concern to the majority Hindus, that is Mandir, Masjid Divide on the basis of Religion. . The Nation has suffered enough and is sick of these issues. It will be very unfair to expect and label the Majority Hindu Community as Communal.  The Secular Hindu is the Main Driving Force of this one billion Indians.  Let us not embrace him by expecting his to act selfish and rude towards Minorities and fellow Indians.

The Nation Dared to Dream to see India at Pinnacle of Growth

The Nation today, be it Hindu, or a Muslim or a Sikh or a Christian they all together dream for the inclusive growth of the Nation and forward-looking community which dreams to see India in the 21st century at the pinnacle of growth, and standards of living and justice for all, and food for all, jobs for all, peace for all, happiness for all, security for all and opportunity for all.  No power will stop the Nation from its right to be united on equal terms to its citizens.

Is Hindutva Medium of Spreading Brotherhood?

BJP Still Believes the way forward for them is only the Path for them to Reach the seat of power with strings of power is strictly by abiding to the dictates of Hindutva as articulated by there Saffron  Bosses.

They still say  “We started from the Hindutva ideology and will continue with it without any changes. We draw inspiration from Hindutva, which is not confined to any religion. It’s a medium of spreading brotherhood across the country.”

This statement above by BJP Stalwart like Rajnath, nullifies the cocept of Hindu Religion and its Entity as an  Independent Religion and dilutes the status of the Hindu Community altogether, why are they doing so and resorting to wild interpretations of Hindutva. There is vast room for all of us in the space we share to accommodate independent identities of our multi religious multicultural progressive living.

Please Define Hindutva a Fresh

Hindutva of Brotherhood is welcome and if Rajnath is willing to modify and preach Brotherhood and equal opportunity to all,  let him spell few more sentences and define HIndutva a fresh distancing from the policy of divide on the basis of religion and work to respect the constitution of India and its Secular Credentials.

The Great Hindu Ethos and Cultural Fusion.

Hindu Religion as practised and followed by our  Pious Hindu Brothers and Sisters is a tolerant and inclusive religion which respects all other religions and has demonstrated great wisdom and health cultural fusion for centuries between Hindus, and Muslims of this part of the Sub Continent, and  lived in affinity with  mutual respect  for hundreds of years.

British Played the Spoil Sport

Till the British Raj played dirty politics of divide and rule on the basis of Religion, Caste and Region in a Happy united Nations of India in 19th Century India. Then the politics of vote bank in independent India for gaining numbers in parliament and state assemblies. The democratic liberties was sadly used negatively to divide us, induce fear, and generate shades of insecurity in the minds of both the majority and minority communities of our Nation India.

Change is In; India has taken the Option of one Unit.

All this is changing and will have to change, for we as nation have no option but to rise above these divides and work for a strong India and a sustainable and aggressive robust India to face the challenges of our times.  This is possible by having wisdom to think for India as a unit a single unit with different colours each colour enhancing its value and pride.

The Voice of Majority Hindus and Majority Minorities Match.

Only they can take a drive in the lanes of power only who realise that India needs parties and individuals who think Indian and work for Indians. And walk on the path of inclusive truthful appreciation of the secular ethos respecting the forbearers of our nation and respecting all sections of the society, and its people with the beliefs so dear to them. This is the voice of Majority Indian, and Majority Hindus and Majority Minorities of India.

Media Reports

July 18th, 2009 in leading News Paper of Hyderabad City it is reported that the state government has given   alternate    land    for a      mosque demolished during the construction of the international airport at Shamshabad on the city outskirts and also promised to bear the expenses of building it.

However, a Muslim political party has rejected the gesture and called for rebuilding the mosque at its original site.

The district collector of Ranga Reddy, Dana Kishore has issued orders allotting 1,000 square yards land at Shamshabad, which is about seven km away from the airport.

The move was to fulfil the promise by the Congress government that it would rebuild the mosque. Masjid-e-Omer Farooq was demolished in 2007 during the construction of the airport by GMR Group.

The mosque, built in 1982, was located on about 500 sq yards, a part of 5,500 acres area acquired by the government for building the airport.

Following strong protests from the Muslim community, the government had assured to rebuild the mosque at its own cost.

Muslims Want The Mosque Re – Built.

Local Muslims wanted the mosque to be rebuilt in the airport area but the airport authorities rejected the demand saying no place of worship could be allowed on airport land.

Owaisi in Assembly

The latest move by the government has evoked strong protest from the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), a powerful Muslim political party in the state capital. MIM leader in state Assembly, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, termed allotment of land for the mosque away from the airport as rubbing salt into wounds.

Mr Owaisi demanded that the demolished mosque be rebuilt at its original site. He said Muslims would never accept land for the mosque at any other place. He fears that this could also set a precedent for the authorities to demolish mosques or other places of worship and provide alternate lands at other places.

Namazis Facing Difficulty for Prayers.

As the Mosque is not yet built by the Authorities there is great amount of inconvenience to the Muslims who have to perform Namaz five times a day a different hours.  They are praying in the open Area near the Parking in Big Numbers five times with no water to do Wadhu i.e. washing of faces hands and legs before to do Namaz and no Toilets. And no shade. Even Juma Prayers are performed in the open space.

This issue has to be addressed by the Govt and the authorities and People with great caution and with out delay.  The Dist Collectors decision of giving land seven km away from the Airport for Construction of Mosque is very disturbing it gives an impression that the authorities are in a rush to divert attention form the real issue and the just action of Re Building Masjid Omar Farooq as promised.

State Govt of YSR should Intervene

The Govt in State is expected to respect the sentiments of Muslims it should intervene and make sure that a Masjid e Omar Farooq is Re built without allowing further delay, before this issue takes uncomfortable turn. The Muslims are showing a great restrain, expecting that the govt will not do unjust and will surly Re Build the Mosque immediately.

Protect Places of Worship

The Contractual Obligations and Limitations of GMP PPP Project can not come in the way of any religious places. Be it a Mosque, Temple or a Church.  We are a secular nation we have to respect the Religious Sentiments. And Protect the Places of Worship at all costs.

GMR   authorities, as reported in media said “no place of worship could be allowed on airport land”

The Mosque should be built with no attempt to explain the limitations of the authorities.   It is very sad to hear that, the Airport authorities rejected the demand saying no place of worship could be allowed on airport land.

The Mosque was present before the airport was even thought for and it is only in the late early 2001 2002 the activity of acquiring the land for airport took momentum.

It was possible that in the design stage the Mosque could have been part of the airport complex, with out disturbing Performing of Namaz, by the Muslims.

Muslims Expect a Just Action from Govt.

Mr. Owaisi has to stick to his stand and the Govt of A .P should make sure that the Mosque is Re Built with no further delay. Before the issue gets complicated. The Muslims sincerely hope to see a Just Action from Chief Minister Rajasheker Reddy.

I understand the sensitivity of the issue and would like to address with great caution and responsibility towards the society and nation with out causing hurt to any one. Hope the people in power are hearing me and the right wisdom prevails on them.

I request the Chief Minister Rajasheker Reddy Garu to send a team to know the reality to the site and find out and see the difficulty the Muslim are facing in performing the Namaz five times at Airport due to delay in the construction of Masjid e Omar Farooq.

 What GMR Should Do.?

GMR should make a very good Mosque which can accommodate big numbers of Pilgrims who go for Haj and Omra they are the guest and clients of GMR who bring revenue to the Airport Every Year. GMR has a good reputation with people.  To make a Mosque will not be difficult for them.  On the other hand daily Namazis are in big numbers in the form of Passengers, Visitors who come to see off the Passengers, staff of GMR, Cab Personnel’s, and other employs of subcontractors and others.

MUSLIM UNITY IS BASED ON “AQEEDAH”

OLD DELHI OF MOGHULS

 MUSLIM UNITY BASED ON  “AQEEDAH”

As the teachings of Islam clearly show us that Brotherhood and unity in Islam are based solely on the `Aqeedah of Islam (which is the foundation of Muslim belief).  The Mu’minoon are believers to one another and this belief has nothing to do with race, or any other type of invalid reason to unite but is rather a bond based on an ideological belief in Islam.

Four Schools of Thought – With no Contradiction to Quran and Hadees.

The Four Scholars of Islam strived hard and sacrificed for collecting and  presenting true practise of Prophet Mohammed SAS in the in light of the information and sayings of Prophet Mohammed sas and Quran. They all,   Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafia and Imam Hambal did best with at most respect and piety towards  beloved Prophet Mohammed sas and the Teaching and Verses of Quran al Hakeem.

Imams Succeeded in Presenting Right Islam.

It is just that, the region they lived and the area they could reach by the means available in the time they lived, thru there students and followers convey the message of  Quran and the teachings of Prophet Mohammed sas to greater numbers of people around the world.  And they Alhamdulliah Succeeded in presenting the true Islam to the Muslim Umma in compliance with the teachings of Prophet Mohammed and the Verses of Quran with no contradiction.

We are one Umma

They all are True Schools of Thought and they do not contradict the teachings of Prophet Mohammed sas and the Quran. We are expected to respect all the four Imams and there followers. There is no difference among them which contradicts Teachings of Prophet Mohammed and Quran.

Unity is Strength

Unity is strength.  This is the reason Islam lays great stress on the importance of unity.  The Islamic concept of Towhid is the other name of the unity of humankind.  The corner stone in Islam is the unity.  Islam teaches us the message that we should not divide humans into sections and sects.

The racial discrimination has been strictly prohibited in Islam.  In the last sermon from the Mount of Arafat the Holy Prophet had clearly announced that no Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab; or the white over the black.  Islam gives clear injunctions for the respect, safety, security and prosperity of the non-Muslims as well. Unity teaches peace, equality and paternity.  The absence of unity brings and breeds disruption, devastation and disputes.

The Quran discusses the concept of unity on three levels.  Foremost is the unity of humanity.  The Quran in Sura Al-Hujurat (The Inner Apartments) says:

“O, Mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.  Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is the one who has piety.” (49:13).

The Quran on second level refers to the unity of the people of the Books: the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims- In Sura Al-e-Imran the Quran says:

” O, people of the Book! Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with him, and that none of us will take others as lords besides Allah.  Then if they turn away, say; Bear witness that we are Muslims” (3:64).

Then on third level the Quran asserts on the unity of the Muslims.  In Sura Al-e-Imran the Quran says;

“And hold fast, all of you together to the rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves.” (3:103).

Then Quran condemns sectarianism and regards it shirk (polytheism).  The Quran again in Sura Al-e-Imran says:

“O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared and die not except in a state of Islam.”

This verse clearly ordains that we should strongly adhere to Islam.

Holy Prophet Mohammed sas said; Allah also said; “whoever does not care about the affairs of the Muslims is not one of them.”  “The Muslims are like a body; if one limb aches, the whole body aches.”

Muslims must find reasons and means to keep united.

In present day world we have several forces working in several directions as per the means, understanding and motivation they have we  only should pray that in rush to do good we should not get deviated from the true path shown by the Prophet Mohammed sas and the Teacings of Quran.

Allah has been kind he in the Qur’an describes what unity in Islam as the Mu’minoon is (Believers are those that believe in Allah and His Messenger Muhammad) being united in a Brotherhood based on solely Islam:

“The Mu’minoon is but a single Brotherhood.” (The Holy Qur’an, 49:10)

Allah further defines this Brotherhood by explaining that Muslims are awliyyaa’ (allies, friends, and supporters) of one another and this again is based solely on Islam:

“The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin the ma`roof (all of Islam), and forbid the munkar (all that is evil; kufr): they observe regular prayers, pay Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is exalted in power, Wise?” (The Holy Qur’an, 9:71)

Muhammad (Salla Allahu `alaihi wa sallam) indicated in several Ahadith on unity and brotherhood as we can see in his (saaws) Farewell Sermon (khuTbat ul-wadaa`):

“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.”

 And :

“A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not oppress him, nor does he leave him at the mercy of others.” (Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6219)

The Prophet said, “None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 12)

We should think of applying the Teachings in our LIFE:

We know that the Religion of Islam is complete in the Revelation of Quran and the coming of Prophet Mohammed SAS.  All teachings, all guidance, all Commands, All limits and Approvals for Mankind are Complete and Available in the form of Quran and Sayings of Prophet Mohammed sas.  We have the protected Quran and Preserved Teachings of Prophet Mohammed in the form Sahih al Bukhari, Sahih Al Muslim, Sahih Al Termizi and few more. And the schools of thought in the form of four Imams which are in compliance to Quran and Hadith.

Put Teaching to Practice

A Great work is needed in the field of calling Muslims to the basics of Islam,

1) Strengthen our Belief in Allah and The Day of Judgement and How we will be asked to give account of our time spent in the life of this world and  how only our good deeds  are going to stand for us in front of Allah and make us our day on the day of Judgement.

2) Five times Regular Prayers in the Mosques in time. With respect to Sunnah and Nawafil.  Zikar, our Mosques need to be full in the Fajr Prayers and not just on Friday Prayers and Ramadan.

3) Reading of Quran and trying to understand it to bring change in our life, and help us understand the world we living better. And try to understand the sayings and teachings of Prophet Mohammed ssa.  Our book of guidance should be Quran should be most dear to us.

4) Be a good Mannered Muslim, Transact in our day to day life in full compliance with people around us and our how Allah and the teachings of Prophet want us to.  The world should respect us because we are Muslims. We should generate liking form Islam in our fellow human beings, and attract them towards Islam by our manners and deeds and dealings.

5) Pay the Poor Due and Zakat and spend what ever we can in the cause of Allah and to give relief to the poor and the needy in the society and family.

And be thankful to Allah for blessing you that you are expected to give it is very much possible that he could have kept you on the side of receiving zakat and charity.

Think about this it will make you understand the pain and agony and discomfort millions of people in the world are going thru due to lack of food, clothing, and basic needs of life.

This will make us to pay millions of Shuker to Allah for being kind to us for not putting us among in disadvantaged.

6) Be trust worthy and truthful, in all times and be just in all times and

7) Be good to the Parents and Family respect the right of the Parents, Wife, and Children near family and friends, and neighbours.

7) Make our Earning Halal, and Consume only Halal, And Refrain form all that is Haram ( Forbidden)

8) Be the one who cares for mankind and respects the creation of Allah and justify our stand on Islam so that they respect Islam. And never hurt any one unjustly.

9) And never transgerros the limits laid by Allah and His messenger.

Dawah Demands Deeds

OUR UNITY WILL MAKE US STRONG IT WILL BRING RESPECT IN THE EYES OF  FELLOW HUMAN and  Nations of the World  BEINGS AND THAT IN TURN WILL ENCOURAGE THEM TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ISLAM AND THE TEACHINGS OF QURAN AND OUR PROHET MOHAMMED SAS

THIS WILL BE THE BEST WAY TO PUT THE MESSAGE OF ALLAH TO THE WORLD AND INVITE THEM TO THE FOLD OF ONENESS OF ALLAH AND BRING IT TO THE FOLD OF PEACE AND COMFORT OF ALLAH.

May the Umman of Prophet Mohammed sas Remain United
